“Staff very courteous and helpful. Great outdoor pool (warm water, temperature very pleasant even on end-of-winter days). Indoor pool is small but handy on rainy days. Beach is a short walk from the hotel (just crossing a small bridge over the local stream). Rooms were a little outdated and breakfast simple but satisfactory. Would come back again (on our second visit)”

“Spent 4 days there, nicely located, just a step away from the beach. Room was simple but nicely decorated. Continental breakfast included. Good value for money. They also have a small swimming pool, which we didn't use, and a tennis court. Definitely worth the try!”

“Hotel Pousada located by Boiçucanga Beach, São Sebastião, one of the best infrastructure areas around and centered located in the coast of São Sebastião city, so easy access to drive around to access the other beautiful beaches located by Serra do Mar State Natural Park with very well preserved Nature and Waterfalls. Very friendly staff, Susana - the owner - is always available and working hard all around, very simple comfortable home style Service that makes you feel as part of their family. Parking is available for guests. Wi fii is not the best depending where you are, but available, TV in every room (we didn'tuse it), A/C that refreshes the room or you can keep the ocean and Forest view balcony (at least at upstair room where we stayed had nice view) opened for fresh air. Even being located by main road of São Sebastião, the rooms are very quiet. Beach chairs and Beach umbrellas are available to borrow for the day to go to the beach that you can take near the 1 shower and tap that is available to wash yourself or your feet after beach (available to every guest already included in daily rate, no extra charge). There's also snacks, drinks and food service Tent by the beach offered by Pousada Staff with beach chairs and umbrellas already available at the beach (to use these service is only needed to pay for food or drinks) Water/Beach front (crossing the road and taking steep steps down or by beach ramp at construction site - As per January 2022 staying, work has been done by Beach Side and long part of beach access is covered). Hotel Pousada at Boiçucanga beach (Sun sets by the Ocean - amazing Sunsets) that is quieter area with lots of infrastructure and service options at surrounding area as Restaurants, Mall, Bank, Supermarket, CoffeeShop, Gas Station, Hospital very near by, walking distance (the furthest Service took around 20min walking). Rooms are simple, but spacious, colourful decorated, warm showers with nice water pressure, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast with variety of breads (the corn bread is the best!), cakes, cereals, 2 kinds of cheeses, ham and 2 kinds of fruits. Fresh fruit juice, water, coffee and milk available served in Water front Restaurant. Clean and fresh towels and a fresh flower by the bed every day. Suggestion: We arrived for Check in in the afternoon, so just crossed the Road and spent the afternoon by Boiçucanga beach watching the Outstanding Sunset by the Ocean, then we spent every day in a different beach reached by car and the furthest took around 30/40 min drive (Maresias), others we had been were Cambury and Camburysinho just next door with easy access and parking spaces - there's a river that separates both beaches and can be easy crossed with water covering by your chest; Barra do Sahy Beach - quieter small strong waves beach with a river that reaches ocean and little chapel crossing a wooden bridge with more difficult access and parking but near larger Baleia beach with easier access; Barra do Una beach - beautiful long beach with option to swim by the fresh water river or ocean side and easier to find parking space and access; Juquehy Beach that has very calm waters but one of the busiest and crowded areas with lots of traffic, ....and when rainning we either stayed around by the mall and restaurants nearby or drove to Historic São Sebastião to visit the Cathedral, Museums, walked around historic cobblestone streets and Restaurants).”

“Experience was not good! The place is nice, what's not pleasant is the service, lots of rules! The place is not suitable for children, you have to have a schedule to go to the pool! The common areas are turned off at 9 or 10 pm so you need to go to your room, it's ridiculous, but if you're the one who has your girl there then you can even stay because you're usually drinking at the bar, in the morning the coffee is very late And then you have to stay in your room because if you go out in common areas you can't, in my case when I have a daughter it's even worse because she can't talk if she doesn't wake up the guest, it's ridiculous, not even in a resort or large hotels. names it happens! I speak from experience! Anyway, I think that if this is the inn's niche, it would be interesting to make it clear and not even host people with children! And I didn't even mention that the rooms smell like mold! But other than that, the place is beautiful. However, I wouldn't go back and I don't recommend it!”
