“We stayed for 2 nights in a double room with extra bed, on the top floor under the eaves (1 adult, 2 kids). The room was very warm (no air con), opening windows was v noisy due to traffic as hotel is on main road, we could not sleep the first night due to stuffy air and because the extra bed was rock hard, it was just impossible to sleep on it, we all had to squash into double bed. Luckily a different extra bed was found for our second night which actually had a mattress. However reception was not willing to do anything about the €30 charge for first night’s unusable extra bed because in their words, it has nothing to do with us, it is a normal extra bed (er no, it was like a plank of wood). The breakfast is served in the cellar (windowless room) and had lots of fruit flies. Won’t stay here again. Noisy and no customer service. The dinner restaurant was nice.”

We booked the hotelroom in rosengarten and we didn’t know that they will send us to a totally another building, which I think older then the original hotel. The room was really stinky and dirty, whole night long we had to smell the toilet sewer smell. We found crumbs on the table and in the bed!? The carpet was dirty, not vacuumed, there were pieces of paper on the floor. The toilet wasn't cleaned either, someone's bodyhair was left inside. (You can see on the picture) The furnitures are old, not well cared and the bed linen is old, already yellowed. The entire building need a thorough cleaning and renovation. I don't recommend this place to anyone, especially at this price!”

“Nice little hotel and very competively priced. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. One staff member in particular spoke English more clearly and precisely than most Americans. The rooms were very clean, though the beds are a bit small the size of the accommodations and the overall feel of the room make up for it. Steam pipes allow you to heat your towels when you get out of the shower. There were 3 very large windows in my room that all opened to allow the fresh air in. A small fan was also supplied for air circulation. Breakfast was very good and had a large assortment of breads, cheeses, meats, and fruit.”
