“We stayed here for two days. This place is very normal and the cost of the rooms is expensive. It's not worth you paying so much for the normal place. The view is really good from the room. The service has to be improved and also should have to improve the hospitality. The wooden rooms are very basic and the bathroom was not up to the mark. No tap and the flow of the water is minimal. It was difficult to manage. I wouldn't recommend you spend so much which is not worth it. They should reduce the price as it doesn't offer anything extraordinary. Almost every other resort gives you such a view and you find many in the same lane. Just don't get flattered by the video they share. You get good options for the amount you pay. It's a normal place with a good view. Just go with the minimum expectation if you choose to stay here.”

“This was our second time in Varkala and this time, we chose B’Canti Boutique Beach Resort. We stayed for 2 nights 26-27 Dec 2023. The property is a sea facing and the beach can be easily accessed. The best part of the location is that it is far from noise and crowd of Varkala, making it very peaceful. The rooms have a great view and mornings are a bliss. The staff is kind and courteous. Don’t choose this place if you are hurried and impatient type. You will be served well but it takes time. The restaurant is amazing and offers great spread and various delicacies. We were also given a nice big plum cake at the time of check out. Thank you,”

As a foreign solo traveller, he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and put in an amazing amount of effort into creating a social atmosphere for myself and the other guests. He also did a great job of decorating the hostel for a Christmas. I would definitely recommend this place.”

“Shiva gardens is one of the best home stays, the owner is very friendly and accommodating. He made our stay there hassle free. The rooms are spacious and clean, well maintained and good lighting. Our stay there is awesome. The only reason I’m giving 4⭐️s is rooms doesn’t have any geaser or heaters for hot water. I went during chilly season, it was difficult for us to bath with cold water on early mornings. Remaining all is very good”

“We (family of 6) stayed for one night. It was pleasant stay and staff / owner was very friendly and helpful. Even I called them at 11:30pm and call was picked up and provided me with extra mattress. Sofa bed had partition in middle , which makes it difficult for anyone to sleep, so we requested extra beds. Road leading to stay is very narrow and recommend, local experienced driver to maneuver. Rooms were clean, all gadgets were working and kitchen is equipped with required utensils.”
