“We were so delighted with the accommodation at Stable cottage, it went far beyond our expectations as we arrived on 23rd Dec and there was a lovely Christmas tree, decorations and homemade mince pies & cream. The hosts went above and beyond with the addition of toiletries and treats. The furniture, decor and beds linens were high quality as was all the kitchen equipment. Couldn’t fault our stay and would like to visit in the summer months when we could explore the hills of neighbouring Dartmoor.”

“Had a really nice stay in one of the airstreams recently. Check in/out process was all quick and easy, and everything was clean enough. The airstream itself had power (and usb charging sockets) on both sides of the bed so charging your devices is easy. The main bed was comfortable for us, and the additional bed was comfortable enough for our young one, not sure if that would have been the case for a teenager though. You get a padlock to lock up the airstream securely while you’re out, which worked well for us. The shower and toilet facilities were kept pretty clean, and everything worked well. The main building at the front seemed to do some pretty nice pizzas, and there were the facilities to cook if you wanted to. There were also plenty of spots for filling water bottles at any point. Plenty of parking on good hard standing, so things were good even in the rain. It was an easy walk into Eden itself for us, without having to worry about moving the car around etc.”

“I recently stayed one night at The Harbour Hotel in Padstow and it was first class. I really loved the decor in all the areas, which was modern but with great little quirky additions. The bedroom was very clean, the bed was so comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary gin & tonic, which was lovely touch. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was exceptionally enjoyable, beautifully cooked, and presented. The views from the dining room were spectacular and the location of the hotel is great for walking along the coast and into the shops in town. “I had an idea to walk from pub to pub in Cornwall for a wee adventure - in the winter. The weather can obviously be hit or miss, but I do like a good storm, and I have lots of cold, dark, wet experience, have the right gear, etc so figured I'd have a go. When I 'youtubed' "best pubs in Cornwall" - The Driftwood Spars came up. And for good reason! After three days of adventure in some pretty inclement weather, stepping into my room with it's fantastic stormy ocean views was just perfection. I started to wonder how I would leave. The bed was comfortable, with enough cushions and pillows to nestle down. Everything else was great too. I'd booked two nights and dinners in the 'top bar' (the loft in the old restaurant part, overlooking the rest of the restaurant). The food was great, breakfasts were whatever you wanted - all available. The staff were very accommodating too, working out my preferred beverage for my New Year's Eve toast. The location could not have been better. I certainly appreciated the proximity to the beach so I didn't have to walk far once I got there. Plus, the views. Loved every minute of my stay. Will definitely keep it on my 'places to go' list for future holidays.”

“Lovely day out at Port Issac and a nice bite to eat at the Slipway. It was a little pricey but the food was very, very good. We only had some snacks but it was early in the day, so we didn't want to fill ourselves up. “This was our first visit to Cornwall. We came to celebrate my son’s birthday. We’re from NYC but staying in Cardiff for the summer. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The grounds, our room and the view were absolutely lovely. We didn’t have a car so that was difficult. But other than taking a taxi to The Eden Project we spent our four days, three nights at the hotel and we were happy to do so. The little hike back and forth to the private beach is charming. The little lookouts on the property are so serene. The afternoon tea perfect and special. The staff is incredibly accommodating. Leah at the front desk is very sweet and the owner Fiona genuinely kind and helpful in planning your day. Two standouts in the restaurant were Camilla and Dan. All the staff in the restaurant was on point, if a little reserved and cool. But Camilla and Dan were so effortlessly warm to my son and I—especially as it was his birthday. I really appreciated the kindness. We’ll have memories from this place for years to come. We hope to come back.”
