The chicken burger at £16 was once a delectable dish, to my surprise the burger tasted like it was made in a kebab shop. Bread was like cardboard and both the beef and chicken burger had an overwhelming taste of nothing. As something marketed as high end me and my partner were extremely disappointed - hope to try again once the chef is back to normal. Love the brook mill normally!”

“I came here to meet with friends for lunch. The pub location is very central and less than 10 minutes walk from King's Cross station. As I visited on Sunday the main meal served was Sunday roast with different options for meat. There were also other vegetarian and vegan alternatives. The meal was plentiful and very tasty. The service was outstanding. It has been a while since I had a meal in a place where serving personnel was so attentive, and friendly. It was such a pleasant ambience.”

“Popped by for a New Year’s Day lunch after a walk round Richmond park. V busy but lots of tables outside with heaters or covers so we weren’t fussed. Staff were pretty dismissive but let them off as NYD and probably hungover! Food was delish and the servers were v friendly (just not manager!). Burgers, fish and chips and chicken schnitzel all devoured. Will be back! £20pp including food, soft drink and service, not bad these days!”

“The location of the hotel is divine ✨️ Walking distance to Central London ✨️ The rooms were really, really, really small for the price we paid ( We paid the highest price for the biggest room - Queen) . There was literally no space left once the luggage was on the floor. That was the biggest disappointment of our stay, to be honest. The good thing was that we didn't stay much in the room. The bed was so uncomfortable, and the pillows were so small and hallow, which made it even harder to sleep. The staff, on the other hand, were really helpful and friendly. Overall, the hotel itself and the rooms were clean and tidy. 5 🌟 for the location and 2 🌟 for the room, for sure won't be coming back there”
