“Great venue. Friendly and helpful employees. Amazing junior suite room facilities. Clean through out rooms, bar, reception, facilities, restaurant, and shared areas. Comfortable bed. Bathroom supplies are useful. Extremely luxurious. Celebrated my birthday and was greeted with a very kind plate with some chocolates. Bar staff were extremely welcoming and created a special cocktail with my favourite flavours.”

“I was in Glasgow for a course and decided to stay at this hotel for location. The hotel itself is bright modern and was spotless. The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was clean and fresh and the bed was very comfy and compared to other hotels in the center you actually managed to sleep as the noise was not as bad. The shower and bathroom was immaculate and the shower was fab in the morning. Breakfast was very good quality and although very busy the staff were very good at replenishing breakfast items running low .The location is excellent not too far to walk to walk to city center. There is nothing not to like about this hotel.”

“It is a great location and they have good food. The staff were excellent and the room had all the required facilities for making a tea or coffee. As the bar was very busy, no table available, they delivered my food order to my room. The bathroom, however, required a wee bit of DIY. The shower was leaking, sink chipped, and the toilet seat requires to be tightened / fixed. The cooked breakfast was nice, and there was a choice options for a continental style breakfast. Nice having breakfast in front of the fire. Cooked breakfast starts at 9.30am so if you are an early riser, you may miss out. It is also an additional £10.”

“Booked here for a stay during work night out. Was pleasantly surprised by the price of £71 a night which was the cheapest I could find, even when checking Premier Inn/travel lodges etc. The downstairs area is very cool with a nice bar area, seating and pool table. Like others, I was slightly confused about check in but found it quick enough when I kept heading towards the bar and right enough it’s all combined together. Staff were welcoming and let me check in around 11:30 despite booking saying 15:00. They take a £10 deposit per night which is refunded on checkout. Checkout was also very speedy. Rooms were fine - fairly basic but got all the essentials and just what I was looking for. All in all, very good hotel at especially good price.”

“Really great value for money! Checkin was simple and friendly, with advice on car parking and restaurants. Our room was great, ground floor with a comfy bed and very little noise from the road outside. Sparkly clean bathroom with a large shower cubicle and lots of hot water. We didn't have breakfast as we wanted to try some local brunch places, but this wasn't a reflection on the hotel in any way. We paid £150 for 2 nights which was more than reasonable, we'd happily book again!”

“Meh. Booking had been messed up so we got a twin instead of a double. Staff were helpful enough and sorted it out, however. No air con in the room, and some utter nonsense on the wall about how that was a good thing to always have the wrong temperature, apparently. We left the window as open as we could all day on a couple of cold autumn days, and the room was still stuffy when we returned at the end of the day. Leaving the window open at night is also not an option if you have any intention of sleeping, given the general Glasgow noise. Just give us the air con controls please. Worst breakfast of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Absurdly tiny plates, terrible coffee, and poor choice. It seems strange to have a “full breakfast” option when there’s barely any of the items you’d expect at a full breakfast - especially considering how much they charge for it. The strange pancake machine doesn’t make up for that. It’s incredibly overpriced for what it is. There was supposed to be something clever in the lift, (“scan your room key for a surprise” or something like that) if you scan your room key. I guess it’s supposed to take you to the correct floor automatically or something? It didn’t work.”

“The room overall was good value for money. However, there were several faults with the room we got. The doors do not lock on the inside which poses as a security risk. The bathroom door would not fully shut over- if it did there was a high possibility of being stuck in the bathroom. The shower also was not functional. The service we received on checking in was great. However, sadly it cannot be said the same for checking out. The reception area was full of people loitering. The reception desk had a sign up saying that the receptionist was busy and to check back later… with the receptionist sat at the desk. The receptionist was not attentive and didn’t ask how the stay was.”

“Stayed here for a weekend. Small but nice room. Heating is great. The breakfast is lovely. Plenty of choice. Close to plenty of places to visit and eat. Only disappointment we were in room 1 which was right by the front door so we were kept awake a lot by the door constantly being opened and shut as people returned after a night out. Also as it was by the entrance there was a lot of loud talking and laughing which kept us awake too. Nice hotel, would go again but would definitely request another room.”

“Stayed here for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as it's only about a 15-20 minute walk into the centre. We were out till late and the area it is in feels very safe to walk back to at night. The room is where I felt I was let down. It is a very small room with no drawers or anywhere to put your stuff apart from on the limited floor space. The bed was rock solid, the mattress was thin and hard and the duvet was very thin as well as there being rips in the linen. The bathroom was clean but there was hardly any toilet paper. Overall it was fine for an overnight stay if you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay near the city centre.”

“This is a new and well designed property with great staff, especially Jamie, who, in the absence of written instructions, helped us work out how to operate the air conditioning, and window. Apparently written instructions are still in the pipe line. Our standard room had a wonderful super king bed. The pillows were too firm but softer ones were provided on request.. The room had a kitchenette with dishwasher,and a good bathroom with huge shower. There was also a wardrobe and lots of other storage which was really useful. Highly recommend Kelvin Grove Art Museum.”
