From here to Koln is like an hour drive so besides camping life, I could also go to the city for shopping and get a nice dinner. Service of the camping is great, the owner Gereon is a very nice man. 👍🏻 here u can also get what u need , supermarket is close by the camping and dog friendly!!! Restaurant on site is also nice and not expensive! For my stay, I have reserved an incredible caravan next to the river, which is very chill and quiet! Highly recommended!! I would like to visit here again.”

“If staying in a hotel causes me unforeseen additional costs, that's a major dealbreaker. So, I checked into the hotel on Sunday at 3 p.m. I immediately informed the receptionist that their wifi was not working. They replied that they were sorry for the problem, but it was Sunday, and their IT support was not working. And that they will fix the issue as soon as possible. When I left on Wednesday around 10:00 a.m., the problem had not been resolved. Considering that the purpose of my trip was work, it is imperative to me that I have a high-quality Internet connection when I am in the hotel. That's why, as a foreigner in Germany, I had to buy an additional mobile internet service due to the hotel's negligence. The hotel had no further excuses for this deficiency nor any bonus for drinks, food or the like. For a hotel in a large German metropolis in 2023, that's lousy advertising. Even in Albania 6-7 years ago, I got a free SIM card for the Internet, which I could not use for a whole week. The hotel itself has the usual facilities. It is relatively close to public transport and the pedestrian zone towards the centre. In addition to a TV and a complimentary bottle of water, there are no additional facilities in the room. Although such room contents are announced on the booking page, it is already quite common for rooms of this level to have a small refrigerator and a kettle so that the visitor can prepare coffee or tea. There was not much noise in the room. The breakfast was relatively high quality. Following the hotel's environmental policy, I did not ask for room cleaning or additional towels during the entire stay.”

“We stayed here for New Years weekend hoping to get away from fireworks. We stayed in the Little Red Riding Hood treehouse and it was lovely. The winding stairs going up can be a workout with luggage so pack light. The view from the large window is nice with the trees and cars going by. It was surprisingly warm with the floor heating. The rain shower was a good size. I wish the loft up top had something more. The bean bag up there was stained so we didn’t really use it. There is a hot water kettle and stocked mini fridge in the treehouse. Breakfast was good and a nice variety. Dogs are allowed in the hotel but the treehouse. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and only takes 20 minutes into the city center. The hotel has its own parking lot with electric charging. It was loud during New Years with the fireworks and church bells but overall a nice stay.”

“Very, very good. For a service station motel, it is to a very high standard. Rooms are basic, nicely decorated, and very quiet, with no sound of traffic. No in-room appliances unfortunately, like kettle, iron, or telephone. There is a smart TV with German channels only, but you can cast your mobile to the TV if you want to watch Netflix for example. The bathroom is relatively spacious with a good shower. Beds are firm but comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent 👌 (purchased on check-in) follow the (frustuck) signs from reception upstairs , along the corridor, and down another set of stairs. The only thing we found odd was arriving at the hotel and finding it locked and having to return to the Service station to check-in. Service station also serves hot food and other items. A great rest stop for the night and well recommended.”
