“Overall an excellent choice for our 9 day stay. Felt very central and close to everything we wanted to see and do. The complementary breakfast is lovely with a good variety to start your day. They do not offer room service and the mini bar is not restocked daily, so be prepared to grab extra water etc to keep in your room. Housekeeping staff was lovely, front desk staff was fine. Would recommend and stay again.”

“The Donna Camilla Savelli is a mixed bag. The positives- the building itself - It is simply beautiful. The common areas, hallways and garden are so elegant. The serving staff, cleaners, and Ian the bell boy were also lovely. The negatives- For a four star hotel our “Executive” room was somewhat disappointing. The soundproofing was very poor. We were woken between 5-6am every morning by delivery vehicles, laundry collection, glass collection etc. The bathroom was very outdated, no dressing gowns, no coffee machine, and (strangest of all) two paper cups (a china cup and saucer would have been nice). The buffet breakfast was extensive. A large choice of food. Unfortunately the bacon and sausages were very greasy though, and a $5 extra charge for an omelette rather unnecessary in a 4 star establishment. Also milk had to be requested which was also strange. Finally we found the reception staff to be polite, but a little cold and unwelcoming (sorry not being unkind but that was our impression). Overall we loved the hotel building and garden, but feel that the overall experience could have been better, especially given the premium price charged to stay there.”

“The hotel is easy to get to from Roma Termini. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was quite large for an Italian hotel and the bathroom was very modern. Breakfast is not a buffet, but served. My scrambled eggs were very good. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as an excellent place ro stay.”

“It was incredible! The location is simply amazing, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of all the major sights. The staff were extremely welcoming, supportive, and helpful throughout our stay. The room facilities were top-notch and we couldn't have asked for more. Oh, and the breakfast? Absolutely delicious! One thing that really caught our attention was the hotel's stunning marble staircase, which we later found out was built back in 1930. Truly impressive! Highly recommend this place!”

“We did enjoy our stay at your hotel the staffs are very welcoming. we enjoyed food and drinks. the only problem we had was the morning after we arrived as my wife wanted to take shower there was no shower gel the bottle was empty so we had to call at the reception to bring us one. apart from that we had a very good time there. its near metro station which is very good. i do recommend it and looking forward to come back.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lancelot. The location was awesome, the staff was awesome and always available and the breakfast was great! There are many restaurants nearby and a grocery store which was nice for buying wine or sandwich's. The rooms are typical European style with a wardrobe for hanging your clothes and drawers for storing your items. There is not really a suitcase storage but we were able to fit everything in the wardrobe. We had a little balcony off our room onto the main street which was full of all the sounds of Rome! The room was very clean as was the entire hotel! The elevator is really tiny and can fit maybe three people, which isn't a big deal if you can take the stairs. We never ended up eating the nightly dinner due to our schedule, but they were very popular! I would highly recommend!”

“Stayed there Dec 19 to Dec 21. Rooms are huge. We booked two rooms both were located at the corners of the building. Not sure about the rest of the rooms.Our rooms were also clean and looked modern. Bathrooms were big and clean too. The guest house (only 7 rooms) is so near to the bus stops. They were just a few feet away.We used the bus to get to the Metro (train), Vatican, and other tourist spots. We used Google Maps to ride the bus and metro. Google Maps was accurate.Once you get used to riding Rome buses and Metro, you'll notice how convenient the location of the guest house is. Our booking included breakfast. They serve a lot of croissants, cereals, coffee, juice. You can also ask Andrea or Giorgio to cook eggs for you. Breakfast was good. Service is excellent. Once you've arrived to the guest house, Giorgio or Adrea will orient your group about the tourist spots/map of Rome. They also provided recommendations such restaurants ( even the cheap ones). You can ask them other questions about rome and how to get to the attractions. Both Andrea and Giorgio are accommodating and easy to talk too. Even their neighbor at the ground floor is nice and friendly. The guest house also has a luggage room. We were able to leave our bags when we came in early and left also our bags after we checked out.”
