“I love this gym. The staff are so friendly, the instructors are great. It's always clean and it doesn't feel crowded. I appreciate that I can use the women's gym to stretch after classes. Really great bang for your buck. They changed one of the studios for circuit training classes which is sad for me as no more Barre, but for others this is probably a plus.”

“Quite the hike out to the red rocks....worth it. But the shining gem was hiking all the way to Sinclair Head and catching the fur seals basking in the sunshine. Not for the faint of heart... 3 miles out and then back, over sand and rocks, some water hazards and steep, rocky climbs! But the breathtaking views and seals make up for any struggle to get there!”

“My husband and kids really enjoyed this place ! My husband was able to race with my children which was a plus! The karts have plenty of power and you can get even faster ones too. The staff were lovely. Little arcade and snacks available. Parking was relatively easy but there isn't a dedicated parking space. Reasonably priced and fun for the family.”

“Public swimming pool with a splash pad outside. Indoors they have lane swimming, leisure and toddler pools. The Swimgym is also located inside for private swimming lessons. The splash pad area is free to visit, but can get cold as it can get windy outside in the open”

“Been a member here for more than 10 years, and I actually still go there. It's hard to get yourself to the gym some days, LM Taranaki St makes it worthwhile once you get there. Good classes, good gear and its always clean and well maintained. And it's big. You don't know everyone. That's the best thing when you are red-faced, sweaty and falling over in a class or struggling on a machine.”

“Fantastic little mountain shop. Small but packed with everything you could need for any type of mountain adventure. I always pop in when I'm in Queenstown. Recently I phoned for advice on some bindings for skis, the staff I spoke to were super knowledgeable on what would be best for my needs and once we had settled on what I wanted offered a fairly generous discount. Payment was quick and easy over the phone and the bindings arrived at my house just a couple days later (Look Pivot 15 with Cast Freetour)”

“Facilities are great and the equipment is brand new, the only downside is the lack of air conditioning. The aircon has been down for a few weeks now but the issue has not been resolved. Surely I’m not the only member who this affects. I almost passed out a few times as it was so humid. There are also no windows that are available to open. Don’t you think this causes health and safety issues? They also decided to bring in saunas, but where is the air con??? I’ll amend my review once the air con issue has been resolved cos right now, I’m having issues breathing.”

“I really this Pool. Never too busy to do a swim, sauna and steam room. Changing rooms are clean and showers are decent. The hot pool is delightful, I could stay there all day. Staff are friendly too. Car park usually looks full but I think it’s because the majority use the gym. $7 for swim and sauna etc not sure about the gym as I haven’t used it.”

“Not much fun at the moment. Only a very small area allocated to "public recreation" which is where the kids can play (18 kids jammed into a 3mx 5m space). the rest is allocated to lane swimming (with only 4 people lane swimming). Suggest that the allocation of space is more dynamic and responsive to public requirement at the time.”

“8 of us flew down for 4 days of golf from Auckland and were booked into Miramar on arrival which was not up to scratch. Called the pro shop at Boulcoutt and got a last minute tee time, from there they were amazing, friendly, super helpful and could not do enough to welcome us. Food, drinks and staff were awesome and the course was fantastic. We were all stoked with our experience and we will be back again! Cant recommend it enough.”
