“Clean up to date facility with new equipment and enough space to accommodate a full crowd. Plenty of mirrors and tanning beds. Big locker rooms with showers. The only thing missing was the hydro bed massage beds that they have in other planet fitness’s I’ve visited but all in all the staff was great the crowd was great and I look forward to my next workout”

“I always love to find an old fire tower to climb. That automatically puts this on top of a list for me. It was nice to see they kept it safe to climb. The compass that is set up next to the tower was a nice touch. The branches in the path of the view finder could use a trimming.”

“We work out here regularly. The equipment is well maintained, as well as the facility. They have a walking track that overlooks the basketball court. They play pickleball there as well. They have a swimming pool with a slide, a lap pool, and the hot tub. They also have a pool table and air hockey. The staff are always nice. And they do have child care available if you are coming there to work out. It is included with the membership, but I'm not sure if it is included with the drop in rate, or if child care is a little more if you do not have the membership. The membership is only $36 per month for a single person, so it really is a great deal. Especially when you consider that you can also go to the Chesterfield location and Don Kinney with the membership. This is my second year having a membership. I did look to see if I could find another place that might have a sauna, for approximately the same cost, but I could not find anywhere that included everything the community center has, for anywhere near this cost per month. In fact, this year I renewed in January during a time where they had a special going on, so I purchased the entire year. Based on the rate I paid, it comes out to around $25 per month. I definitely recommend a membership with the community centers. They do have some really great classes as well!”

“The Range West is the only NON RACIST gun store around. Im Asian and I went to several stores and just stood there, never being acknowledged or noticed. This happened at all the stores for some reason, so I held up a wad of cash and yelled I guess you don’t accept cash as they took care of theee people that came in after me. (Denny Dennis was the absolute worst ). Of course the mamas chased me into the parking lot and asked how much ya got? None for you or your store. But, It all changed when I went to American Arms years ago. The owner John, himself personally introduced himself and helped answer all of my questions until I wanted to purchase a gun several that is. I have been following him for years, now his new place, Range West is top tier. Better than anywhere in St. Louis, by far. Not some falling apart building in a smelly building. Just the attention you receive as soon as you walk in the door until you leave with bags of goodies. Thanks John and Team. I’m a customer for life! Of course the best range, training, classes, and friendships made. Thanks John and Team! Just a few from Range West!”

“MAJOR GYM DOWNGRADE: management “upgraded” equipment at the gym and in doing so removed 2 of 3 neutral bench press set ups and 5 of 8 benches for free weights… they got rid of the back extension machine for no apparent reason. The management likely didn’t consult members or monitor use of the facilities before making the changes. Before there was rarely a wait for equipment, now there’s always one. Bring back at least 1 of the neutral bench press set ups and 2-3 more benches and it should help some… get rid of the extra pull up assist (it’s rarely used and definitely not enough to justify 2) and bring back the back extension.”
