“As a female - Centerfire is hands down the best range around. The facility is well kept with a relaxed atmosphere. Their staff is kind, personable, informative and are welcoming. The women's hand gun classes they offer are top notch for introductory and/or a refresher course (which I have taken twice over a 7yr span). I have been working with Bernie who has been the kindest, most patient instructor you could ask for. Bernie goes above and beyond in each lesson. He answers any and all questions with the highest integrity, provides feedback in the most positive manner and will gently correct anything he sees that will help improve your confidence and accuracy. Beyond grateful for this facility and their staff.”

“They don't have a lot of tall lockers, so prepare for that. This is the first PF I've attended that has more than 3 sinks which is awesome! Most gyms don't offer paper towels in the bathroom which I understand for an eco-friendly environment. However, sometimes it's needed in there. Also the first locker room I've seen required with more than 2 toilets, sometimes I've had to wait which may not turn out good results. Also the first locker room with more than 4 showers. I'm tall and I need a high bar for pullups and their multi equipped machine has them (some don't). This is also the first gym I've ever seen with an actual track which I've always wanted to have. Also 2 left press machines, I usually have to wait”

“Great experience! We came in the morning, did the lead test, then we bouldered and did top rope and lead. The quality of the routesetting and the holds was very good. The staff was friendly. The mats were good quality. The walls are a bit slippery, old school style. There was not a lot of visual appeal among the routes, but they all ended up being fun. The grading was accurate for what you'd expect for a gym around here. The day pass without gear was $25. I liked the natural light in the facility. They have an amazing kids area, which I did not utilize but saw they have many routes and even a real rock wall.”

“The Gym is awesome I am new to Louisiana. People are pretty cool. Always clean, my routine is 4:45- 7:30am Sunday- Saturday I try to take a break but just keep pushing myself. Any ways, it’s a cool place check it out. Make that “ New Years Resolution “ “Get Fit””

“I really like Main Street Gym. They have a lot of equipment and space. For the most part it is clean. The staff is generally friendly. The two biggest downsides are 1) the hours aren’t great. This place would be a perfect 5 if they were 24 hours or even 4am-midnight. I prefer to work out in the mornings before going to work on most days, but have to be headed to work by 6am. A 5am open doesn’t allow for a good lift. Plus a noon opening on Sunday means you can’t work out until after church. The hours may cause me to have to change gyms in 2024. 2) Sometimes it takes a while for the wipes for the equipment to get refilled. Small potatoes on this one. Like I said, overall this is a good place. I just wish they’d consider updating the hours.”

“Lots of workout machine and class options, friendly staff, clean, hydromassage chairs are awesome, and the best part for parents is DAYCARE included in $30/month plan!!! The hours are understandably limited but reasonable and there’s plenty for kids to do in the playroom. Daycare hours for prospective members (up to 3 kids per parent for up to 2 hours): Monday-Thursday 8-1, 4-8:30pm Friday 8-1, 4-8pm Saturday 8-1 Sunday 12-6pm”

“This is a great YMCA location. This YMCA was located near my hotel, it was snowing so I decided to use the indoor track and weights at the YMCA. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they made navigating the Y and using the facility seamless. The indoor track is well kept and a great place to run or walk. The weight room has a large amount of equipment and well laid out to accommodate any workout routine. I really enjoyed using this facility, and will use it again if I am in the area.”

“I go to the ymca a lot, and to this one about half the time. They have a nice clean facility and friendly staff. The cardio room is a little small but I never have a problem getting a machine even when they are busy, which is pretty often. The location is super convenient for me cause I live like five minutes away.”

“Update 8/2/2023- spoke to someone at emerald city, they apologized for what happened and thanked me for letting them know about the incident so that they can better prepare next time. The person I spoke to mentioned that area SHOULD have been covered during open play. (Original) - I've been here twice. The second time we had an incident with one of our children. I'm posting this so that your supervising staff can better prepare next time or cover the area during open play where the incident occurred. My husband and I , along with other parents, were sitting on the top area (bleachers). We took both our kids this day for weekend open play (7/15). We could see most of the play area. At one point we could no longer locate our 4.5 year old. So we yelled at our 6 y.o. to see if he could see/find his brother. Our 6 y.o. starts crying and pointing to an area close by the rope swing/foam pit, so immediately we knew our kid had to be in there - stuck. No time to waste and my husband ran downstairs into the play area towards the area our other child pointed to. Husband located our child in an area that was about 6 feet deep (not exactly sure on depth but my husband struggled to get out himself after pulling our child out). The area was empty but deep. Not sure how our son got in there. Not sure if he jumped or fell. But he was scared and panicked that he couldn't get out. One of your supervising staff (teen) apologized and said she didn't see him go in there. Again, I'm just writing this so that you guys can do better next time being that it was during a scheduled time that parents aren't allowed on the floor.”
