They were so welcoming and patient with my girls, who it was their first time to do their nails. I specifically appreciate how kind they were to my 4-year-old. I also appreciate the lady who did my other daughter’s nails. My daughter had a picture she wanted for her birthday and did it exactly as the picture. “I saw Kristen in 2020 during covid for a highlight and lowlight. Overall I was very happy with how light she was able to highlight my hair, however the lowlights were very “Jennifer Aniston 90s chunky” despite my asking for them not to be-so I politely messaged her after and asked her if she could please break them up a little. I didn’t ask for a refund, and I tipped her well for her time to correct what I wasn’t thrilled with. (I was having to style my hair to hide the lowlights). Well, I called to make an appt to see her again as my hair has grown out and needed some TLC. I just lost my father from a long battle of cancer and so I was looking forward to finally having her highlight my hair again and getting “refreshed”. I called on Tuesday and was surprised they were able to get me in to see Kristen Thursday. However today I received a call that Kristen didn’t want to do my hair because Kristen was quote “concerned based off the last experience” and said she wasn’t the hair stylist for me!! LMFAO. WOW 😮 If you can’t handle a little constructive criticism then I will take my business elsewhere. Kristen needs to get off her high horse -it’s extremely distasteful that my appt was canceled over the fact I asked her to please break up a couple very thick lowlights over 2 years ago? Seriously? I’ll include photos below. I paid over $400 in total and was willing to give her another try, but that’s fine, I didn’t want to be in the snooty stuck up atmosphere that is Anushka anyways. Everyone there treats you like you are beneath them- Such bad business. Kristen is a big baby and lost a great customer. Take your money somewhere else where they actually care about you as a person! The first photo with my masks were my natural hair grown out before our first hair appt. I had to wear my hair up to hide the large thick stripes so that’s why I asked for them to be broken up a bit. But to not be wanted as a client simply because I was honest and needed them broken up a bit is absurd and childish. I think it says a lot about the stylist and the salon. Their are multiple owners here, and a person to mix color, wash hair, blow dry and cut, it’s all a la carte. If you want to be the best, you have to be willing to take constructive criticism. They did offer for me to see someone else but I’m good. I’ll go establish with someone more talented and happily spend over $400-500 somewhere else. All over two low lights that needed to be broken up! SMH 🤦‍♀️! 😂 😂 ✌🏻”

“This is a really cool barber shop that a friend recommended to us. It has a classic barber shop feel with more modern vibes. It offers online appointments or walk-ins, which was convenient. All the barbers were friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. My son has a sports tournament coming up and he wanted to go all out. He talked with our barber, Greg about somehow shaving his number into the side of his mohawk, and we were not disappointed. I assumed it would be generic, but man, who knew you could make those designs in hair!! Greg made sure to take his time and made sure my son and I were both happy with his finished cut. I would highly recommend this shop and especially Greg.”

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!! Overpriced and bad experience!!!! I recently moved to Florida and looked for a new hair salon where there was a person who specialized in blonde hair which is a big requirement for me, I needed to touch up my hair color. I googled and I found this salon in Winter Park. I made the appointment for June 2, to make the appointment they asked me for a deposit of $93.75 the total value of the service was $350 for full aluminum, color and blower . I traveled 2 hours from Ocala, which is where I live, I chose the “stylist” Eric because on the website it appeared as “a specialist in blonde hair” and that is what I was looking for. I have dyed my hair blonde for several years with an incredible stylist but because I moved I had to find someone else. I explained to Eric what I wanted and showed him a photo of my hair with the color design my previous stylist had done. I did not like that repeatedly it seemed that the product he applied to me did not bleach my hair and he forced the blower over and over the aluminum. I was suffering because I silently prayed that my hair not be mistreated. When my hair finally accepted the product, it continued with the color process and so on. He began to blow-dry my hair, while he was doing this his next client arrived. So he asked a girl to continue doing his work because he already had to attend to his client. The girl looks like she didn't know how to do this and was improvising. I didn't like that at all. When my hair was somewhat dry and the girl finished doing her impromptu work, I could see how damaged, burned, dry and split ends of my hair. He came back and saw my hair and began to cut the burned hair that was most visible, that is, the ones in front. I didn't say anything regarding the other awkward situations because the hair color was fine. When I went to pay, they charged me a total of $460.20. It was the first time I had paid so much for my hair. I had to give a $70 tip because it was the only option left and I didn't have the option of not leaving a tip, otherwise I wouldn't have given nothing. I got out of there fast because I had to travel. Days later I checked my email and saw the invoice for this service and I realized that they had charged $85 for a haircut that I never asked for unless they considered the cut of the burnt ends that the same stylist caused with his work. My other fear was washing my hair because I don't know if it would change the color, so I waited 5 days to wash it. I washed it and my hair turned yellow, I have parts of my hair that are stained, I use professional hair care products ALWAYS! because it is super important to me. I never go back to Dolce Vita again. What a mess!”
