“I’d love to post about how wonderful the experience was. I’d love to inform everyone that the results justified the price. Sadly after booking a haircut and beard trim a week in advance, my appointment was cancelled the day of, due to staffing issues. They did offer to reschedule, on a day that doesn’t work for me. They did offer to squeeze me in 4hours early for just a cut. That also didn’t work for me. I set my appointment for the time and day that I was available. I should be thankful that I saved $100 plus tip, but sadly, that doesn’t negate my grooming needs. There will be no follow up or next time. This cements my resolve to never do business here.”

So, I went there and asked for a Balayage appointment. The friendly lady at the reception immediately assigned me a stylist, ready to take care of me, which was impressive and not common. My stylist, Nahawand, was absolutely stunning. Everything was perfect, from the customer conversation to the execution of my ideas. She knew exactly what I wanted, and after about 2 minutes of discussion, we started right away. I also had a great conversation with her, and when I was done, I almost wanted to cry because it turned out so beautifully. I highly recommend this stylist to anyone coming to this salon; she is one of the best hairdressers I've ever had.”

“My daughter wanted what might be perceived as a difficult haircut, the girl, who did the cut seemed somewhat inexperienced, however, she had no problem taking the picture to her manager, which I believe was the owner, and showing her and asking for advice. The owner made great suggestions and gave her a pointer or two during the haircut, and I can’t believe how good it turned out! What a great facility with excellent teamwork. Nowadays, you see too many people who aren’t willing to admit there is something they don’t know or ask for advice when they need it. We will absolutely be going here from now on!”

It was a Saturday earlier in the day so I was lucky they could see me. The experience was so good. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who did my pedicure. He did an amazing job!. I had complimentary champagne and madeleines and then moved to the manicure. I already had a photo ready for what I wanted. Jolie was the lady who did my manicure and she delivered. I have seen her twice already and the results have been wow! 💫 She really has the artistic eye. I will strongly recommend you make an appointment as they are always busy. Tip in cash is preferred. My second visit was during the week after work. I am posting the inspo photos vs the ending results on both visits. My last visit she did the tortoise French🤩. I will have to say the photos don’t do justice on how pretty my nails look. I’ve got many compliments and had given referrals to the salon already.”

“My stylist for 30+ years had sold his salon and retired and I was traumatized! How could I find somewhere that understood me and my spaghetti straight hair? Bingo! Less than 10 minutes from home, Platinum Salon. In addition they were voted best of Chester County in 2022. •It was pouring rain the day of my first appointment but Platinum Salon was big, bright, airy and sparkly inside. •The receptionist took my rain jacket and asked if I wanted anything to drink. •They had assigned me to Gabby. She asked me to have a seat at her station first, to get to know my hair and what my concerns were. She understood I needed more weight off the bottom and a more rounded shape. •My first thought was, wait...this is her station? It was just a salon chair and a big mirror in front. Where was the countertop crammed with hair product, pictures of kids, combs sitting in the blue solution, blow driers and a huge tip jar? Answer, they all had their own petite rolling station. And the blow driers were hanging from the ceiling!! Really! The whole salon was pristine! •In addition, when she washed my hair in the back station, the height of the sink adjusted instead of the chair. Oh yes...they have chandeliers hanging from the ceiling too. •Gabby is delightful! We soon found out I had lived in the same condo community where she is. We talked so much I was afraid she was going to make a mistake. But she didn't. •After my appointment I went shopping in the wind and pouring rain. But when I came home, my hair dried and I fluffed my fingers through it. Voila! A beautiful cut! •Sometimes change is for the better. Platinum Salon is a bit more expensive than others, but I'm worth it!!! 😊”

I made an appointment for a color correction and honestly was pretty horrified of my last experience that botched my color in the first place. I expressed my concerns and she listened.
