“I can not say enough great things about Carbon Salon or Ashlie Hernandez! During our consultation, she got a clip of my hair to test and make sure it would pull properly and luckily for me, it did! I just love how they care for their clients. Yesterday was my appointment and it went great! I was so nervous because I have NEVER done anything with my hair and honestly had no idea what I wanted. She listened to my thoughts/ requests and matched that. Ashlie did a braided balayage, cut 4 inches off, did a face frame and styled it. I love it so much. She gave me some great recommendations for products. I did get the wash and rinse. I will be going back for the texture spray! I am generally an introvert and was a little worried we would be sanding there in awkwardness but it was a great time. Ashlie has a fantastic personality. “This place has become quite gross. My first visit was with my sister about a year ago and we had a good experience. I took my friend here last week and unfortunately the experience was not the same. There was a few soapy bars with pubic hair left around the shower counters. There were only two women doing the scrubs and massages, they seemed burnt out. Both of our massages were unpleasant and unprofessional. You really get the sense they didn’t want to be there. We only finished it to not be rude. We paid $100 each for the massages, it wasn’t even worth $30. The water baths were cloudy and not clear. If you get the chance to visit spa world in VA, this is a Korean spa you can’t wait to return too. Clean, professional, and friendly.”
