Generous portions, didn't skimp on the smoked salmon and egg was poached to perfection! “We were passing through Slough yesterday evening and one of our friends who lives in the local area highly recommended we try out Zaiitoon (as we hungry). The restaurant is a good size and has a bright ambience to it. The colours are inviting and there’s plenty of seating, which is good for friends and family. We ordered the following dishes: - chapali kebab - charsi lamb karahi gosht - chicken jalfrezi - afghani naan - kabuli pilua with lamb shank - mango lassi The food was excellent. The charsi lamb karahi gosht was marinated to perfection. It is definitely one of the best karahi’s I’ve had in a long-time. The flavour, heat and overall tenderness of the meat was exceptional. The chicken jalfrezi was very good too and the chicken itself was very tender and, similar to the charsi gosht, very flavourful and tasty! Chapali kebabs were very good too and tasted fresh. The kabuli pilau with lamb shank was nice but could’ve been better. The rice wasn’t the traditional rice used and had more of a Pakistani pilau texture to it. Price to quality ratio of all of the food was very good. Customer service was excellent and all of our requirements were met. The only downside I have is that they asked for cash, which isn’t always possible and I’d expect most restaurants to accept card payments nowadays. Overall, highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be visiting again the next time I’m in the local area!”

“I've been coming to Jas Jas Jas for years but had a really disappointing experience today (6th July 2023) and had to leave an honest review. I purchased a large vegetarian box for £9.50 and the portion size given was even smaller than the medium box. When I mentioned this to the server they got defensive saying that it is only 6 items per portion; 6 items is fine but the quantity of each item given was not a fair portion. No empathy was shown or resolution offered and I left feeling disrespected and ripped off. Picture below versus a large meat box (£11.50) which includes the pot of salad. The food itself is good, but the vegetarian portion size needs to be fairer before I consider going back”

“I was searching chaat shops near me and this lovely restaurant popped up as my first recommendation. We decided to go there, around 1 hour drive with pretty heavy rains. And inspite of being Sunday, restaurant was full. Luckily we got table as soon as we reached. The food was top notch and really quick service. We had pav bhaji-amaazing and good flavours, vada pava- my favourite, mini idli soaked in sambar (8 idlis), papdi chaat and Pani puri (6 pieces- interesting flavours with aloo, some pomegranate tamarind sauce which surprisingly complemented each other tastes) with masala tea and ginger tea. It was definitely worth the drive and effort. Must try if around Manchester area. Will definitely come back to try other dishes in the menu. Reasonably priced- our total was 38 pounds.”

Was welcomed by the staff downstairs, asked for a table and the wait wasn’t long at all although it was fairly busy. Once we made our way up we was welcomed by a young man named SULLY, his approach and mannerism was highly professional, from asking us for allergies (which one of us had) to ensuring we was comfortable where we was seated then having the pleasure of being served by him during our evening, I would recommend his service to everyone! The desserts were absolutely stunning, both visually and in taste, I can see why it’s known to be the best in the game in Bradford! I personally ordered the whats fudge got to do with it, a good blend of hot and cold! My guests were singing praises which is what made me write this review. I will be returning. 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
