“This is a nice place for NYU students living nearby and looking for halal food and even for people looking for halal burgers in Manhattan. Honestly, not the best or mind-blowing burgers you’ll ever have. But for pretty big portions, crunchy hot fries and onion rings, and pretty good burger, this place is awesome. I tried their wings, mac n cheese, buffalo fried chicken burger, and their meat burger. I also tried their garlic fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. Honestly all of them were really good but the man n cheese with the meat was not so much because the neat had a weird distinct flavor. Also, you should definitely try the sweet chili sauce with the fries and rings! Again, their portions are really big and it’s a great place for a nice filling lunch! The staff are very nice, patient, and fun to converse with! There are seating areas as well. It’s a place I went back to and would go to again.”

“The food was incredibly good. This spot was recommended by a Senegalese friend. We asked the cashier (who doubles as the waitress too) what dishes she would recommend and she didn't miss. The ginger juice is definitely worth having. It got very noisy as more patrons came in and I wish they can try to watch this part because it can be slightly annoying when you can't hear the person you are dining with.”

“Absolutely amazing Uyghur food!!! Big plate chicken, beef dumplings, lamp with cumin is all amazing and good enough to feed two hungry guys. Coming from Toronto we have some pretty good Uyghur options but this absolutely amazed us (mostly me, unfortunately it wasn’t a five star for the other guy with me because it had a lot of cilantro—so if you don’t like cilantro this may not be the best for you) Oh and definitely get big plate chicken without the bones, it’s worth it. Also, beef dumplings are crazy. Like actually fire”

“This was definitely a unique dining experience and in its own way it was memorable. I have never been in such a tiny restaurant with so little space to maneuver. The wait staff literally pulls tables away from the wall for you to slide onto the wall side bench and then pushes it back towards you - every inch matters here. This restaurant is a bit of a machine - the waitstaff is very present and urging you onwards through your meal, they turn over tables quickly. I can see why the place was humming - people come because it's the most affordable Indian food around. But the food itself is not memorable at all. The decor is one of a kind but all I could think of was how difficult it must be to properly clean all those strings of lights (to the point where I highly doubt they do get cleaned). If you want affordable Indian food in a restaurant setting in lower Manhattan this fits that bill. Would not recommend if you are a person of size (either height or width really) nor a wheel chair user nor if you have significant mobility issues.”
