“I've been coming to Jas Jas Jas for years but had a really disappointing experience today (6th July 2023) and had to leave an honest review. I purchased a large vegetarian box for £9.50 and the portion size given was even smaller than the medium box. When I mentioned this to the server they got defensive saying that it is only 6 items per portion; 6 items is fine but the quantity of each item given was not a fair portion. No empathy was shown or resolution offered and I left feeling disrespected and ripped off. Picture below versus a large meat box (£11.50) which includes the pot of salad. The food itself is good, but the vegetarian portion size needs to be fairer before I consider going back”

“I was searching chaat shops near me and this lovely restaurant popped up as my first recommendation. We decided to go there, around 1 hour drive with pretty heavy rains. And inspite of being Sunday, restaurant was full. Luckily we got table as soon as we reached. The food was top notch and really quick service. We had pav bhaji-amaazing and good flavours, vada pava- my favourite, mini idli soaked in sambar (8 idlis), papdi chaat and Pani puri (6 pieces- interesting flavours with aloo, some pomegranate tamarind sauce which surprisingly complemented each other tastes) with masala tea and ginger tea. It was definitely worth the drive and effort. Must try if around Manchester area. Will definitely come back to try other dishes in the menu. Reasonably priced- our total was 38 pounds.”

“Came for cheeky milkshakes and was not disappointed. Really great taste and flavours as we bought three. The prices can be the only thing that I can say is a little pricey but these days everything has gone up. Other than that, it was great and the menu looks good too so will have to dine in one day and try the dishes as the restaurant looks nice and comfy. There's parking on the side of the restaurant as well as behind the place.”

“We decided to visit Sahara on new years eve and despite it being quite busy we were served within 20 minutes of ordering which was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and the whole family really enjoyed the food which was top notch. We will no doubt return in the near future.”

“Leaving review not as a customer but a Deliveroo driver - Usually delivery drivers are not treated very nicely unfortunately however my first time collecting food from this place and the member of staff treated me with respect, very kind and polite greeted me with a smile, addressed me by my first name as he could see on his delivery system it would be myself collecting the food to be delivered, he told me to take my time and accept the order when I was ready when usually restraints ask you to accept the order (mark as collected and on the way to customers) whilst the food is still in there hands being packed and he attempted to conversation although I could see he is busy and I was too. If the service is as good as this to a delivery driver then I can't imagine how paying customers are treated and what care goes in to the food. Will definitely be trying the food with friends and family, good service and being kind to people goes a long way, thank you!”

“Eaten here a few times and it just seems to even better. Seen a review saying this could be the best Middle Eastern restaurant in South Manchester and I wouldn’t disagree. The food is exemplary, staff are nice and depending when you go it varies from chilled / quieter in the week to busy at weekends. It’s BYO drinks so if you’ve arrived not realising you can nip round the corner to Sainsbury’s local which is a few metres away. Food pics may not do it justice but it’s a classic meze choice of starters from humous dips, breads, baba ghanoush etc, mains are a great selection and desserts are classic Middle Eastern home cooked, the baklava is highly recommended.”
