Katiki Waterfalls
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Andhra Pradesh 531149, India

“We had amazing time at katiki waterfall, the road to reach there is very zigzagy and become very stony near the water fall, parking is difficult for four wheeler so if you are not an experienced driver park somewhat far away and you can walk to water fall by walking 700-900 meters. Always bring extra clothes and towel for bathing in water fall. Water is so cold and speedy coming from over the hills, rocks are slippery near fall so use your both hands too climb safely, you will love the view and bathing in waterfall.”

Gundaru Dam
4.5
( 16 reviews )

Tamil Nadu 627802

“A pleasant place which makes us feel close to nature, Many Private falls are available nearby the Dam itself. The Dam is just Damnnnn. To reach the Private falls many jeeps are available, The prices are kind of in the higher side but still it's worth the experience, You can have fun for some multiple hours in a private falls with just a limited number of people. If you don't want to spend money, then you can walk up to the nearest private falls which is not actually private but definitely have some higher privacy level than the main falls. Boating is available in this dam which is also the range of a higher price point. The boating is a really good experience But I would say that it's not worth the price.”

We also saw a train in the distant and it looked just amazing and dangerous at the same time! We also could see the new tunnels being built - this should cut down the time travel by another 20-25 minutes. But we are still on scenic routes for now and enjoying them 😍”

I could see the entire city of Shimla from the top and it was an incredible experience. The fresh air and peaceful atmosphere made for a perfect escape from the busy city life. Jharipani Waterfall
4.5
( 8 reviews )

C3GV+WFW, Barlow Ganj, Mussoorie, Chamasari, Uttarakhand 248179, India

“The place is a must visit if you are willing to explore something new while in Mussoorie. The waterfall is a beautiful one, the water is so clean that You will be able to see the stones and pebbles at the bottom very clearly. Not many people go to this place as you need to walk down atleast 20 minutes to reach the waterfall. And coming back is even more difficult due to the steep road. So this place is a no no for elderly and kids. After reaching the fall there's only one shop that too a stall kind of. The shop owner is very kind, he would request you not to litter around and keep the fall area clean. I would request you to kindly help the guy buy ordering something as not many people visit the fall. Also I would recommend you to hire a two-wheeler so you can go as near as possible to the fall without walking. We went there by car, so we had to park in between and walk much to reach there.”

Darya Ghat
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Maharashtra, India

“Darya Ghat 🏞️ is a must visit place in Monsoons. It is located around 125 kms from Pune and it takes around 3 hours to reach there. You can put the location on Google Maps and you would easily reach the place. You have to park your vehicles where the road ends and a short hike begins from this place. A hike of 30 mins will take you to some magnificent waterfalls and yes there is not one waterfall but a series of waterfalls where you can enjoy. The views are absolutely magnificent and the beauty would just blow your mind. I would suggest reach in the morning as early as possible so that you won't encounter much of the crowd. As the day starts progressing, the crowd increases at these waterfalls. You can easily choose your spot for enjoying the waterfalls as there are many and as you go higher & higher you would get more secluded spots to enjoy.🏞️ It is advisable to go in groups. The hike/trek is easy, waterfalls are safe but remember as it's monsoons it can get slippery at lot of places so please be careful. The spot you have parked your vehicle, you would find a small shop which serves Vada Pav, Kanda Bhaji and Tea. On the back side, there is a house, you can change clothes, they charge Rs 10 per person for the same. This spot is famous among local people and around but now it is also gaining popularity among people from Pune & Mumbai.🤟🏻 Disclaimer - Keep The Environment Clean!🌴🌱🌿🏞️ Do Not Litter🚫”

You can watch the waterfall from a distance but also half the way there is a closed entry downward which will take you to the water, it's not allowed but people are going, so with proper safety measures you can try going there. A lot of stairs are there to go down and then climb back to the parking lot. Parking available but only for very few vehicles. Need to pay for the entry.”
