Glaspatrick, Co. Mayo, Ireland
“A lot of effort has been put into setting up trails, setting up some restrooms on the way,... The last part of the hike is steep and even though rocks have been arranged to a path, it could be tricky while climbing down. A great experience 👍 If the weather is good, you get to see the amazing views”
14 The Heritage, Dysert, Co. Waterford, Ireland
“Very nice path with great views along the way! Everything from old ruins to shear cliffs and a shipwreck. Very much enjoyed the about 3 mile loop.”
Gleninchaquin, Kenmare, Co. Kerry, V93 YXP4, Ireland
“Beautiful hidden place. Only found it by chance and we had a fantastic 2hours walk around. Properly signed posted and offers options for any level of walker/fitness. Is privately managed and there's an entrance fee, which is acceptable and you can see that it is reinvested I'm maintaining the place. They can handle card payment but it's reliant on having signal, so do bring cash.”
Coole Demesne, Gort, Co. Galway, H91 HF5X, Ireland
“Beautiful park with paved walking trails. The trees and the water views were just amazing. We enjoyed our long hike and stopped at their cute tearoom for coffee.”
Coomroe, Co. Cork, Ireland
“No entrance fee ( if you walk there, not sure about cars) It would be great if the national park started before the Gougan Barra lake / church, I find it quite irritating that cars are driving besides this quaint lake. Also in the national park there were a few cars driving around, i find that quite unnecessary.”
Letterfrack, Co. Galway, Ireland
“Beautiful area, 4 different walking distances. Very nice and well maintained walking paths.”
Unnamed Road, Glassillaun, Co. Galway, Ireland
“All the previous reviews mention both access and parking, so I thought I'd include some pictures. The road down is narrow, if you meet a car someone will be reversing. The car park is not that small, and there is parking along a wall beside the car park. Needless to say, on a sunny day I'd arrive early! There are bins and 2 porta loos in the car park. Beach is great! Lovely sandy beach with very few rocks, and it's shallow a good way out. Some fantastic views of Mweelrea.”
Scalpwilliam Or Mount Mapas, Dublin, Ireland
“My favourite part of Dublin city, so enchanting, calming, and yeah beautiful. Killiney has a special place in my heart. It’s truly a GEM.”
53-54 South Great George's Street, Dublin, D02 X208, Ireland
“I had one of the best shopping experiences ever in Dublin. The staff was super helpful and asked all the right questions to make sure I didn't waste my money on things I didn't need. They helped me pick out the perfect base layers, boots, socks, and everything else I needed. It was awesome! Strongly recommend them!”
Newcourt, Co. Wicklow, Ireland
“Beautiful view you can see from the top of head. Part of the walk is very muddy and stiff so it can be a bit intense but totally worth it. It takes about 40 mins from the start point to The top. If the weather is clear, you can see whole Dublin and beautiful Wicklow mountains.. Amazing!”
Kilclooney, Co. Waterford, Ireland
“This is a tough hike. You will need decent footwear, water and food. It took us 3.5 hours(7k). There is a small car park that fill up early. It was very windy at the top, and boggy. Go clockwise around the lake. Some signage is badly needed to show the route(s). The route we took was extremely difficult, NOT suitable if you don't have a good head for heights. Having said all this, it was a fantastic experience with amazing views.”
Rd, Mullaghmeen, Co. Westmeath, Ireland
“A forest full of beech trees and several walks. There's a yellow, blur, red and white trail with yellow being only 20 mins at 1.5km. However, if it is a longer walk you're after that's where the remaining three colored trails come in all of …”
Knocknagalty, Co. Limerick, Ireland
“Amazing spot! Stunning viewings all round and a great climb to get there. If your visiting Tipperary at all and enjoy hillwalking or hiking then this is a must do!”
660, Iceland
“My husband hiked up and around Hverfjall during our visit to the Myvatn region. He’s a strong hiker, so it completed the entire thing in 41 minutes, though we imagine it would take longer for most people. Wonderful views from the top. Well worth the effort if able.”
Knocknarea South, Co. Sligo, Ireland
“A strenuous walk. I parked the car in Sligo rugby football club (a honest box is kept). Ver well maintained trail, and the steps were stepper. Plenty of benches along the trail to take rest. The trail leads to Queen Maeve's cairn. An absolutely gorgeous 360° view from the summit. Spent nearly 4 hours. After walk went to Strandhill beach and enjoyed the rest of evening. Perfect for a day trip with family.”
