Hell's Gates

Noosa Heads QLD 4567, Australia

“Spectacular beaches and cliff formations up and down Noosa Heads with pods of dolphins and sea eagles commonly seen. Some of the best sea views Queensland has to offer and pathways all along the cliff tops and past a number of beautiful beaches. Very much recommend a visit.”

Diamond Bay Reserve
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Craig Ave, Vaucluse NSW 2030, Australia

“Diamond Bay Reserve is a beautiful cliff top reserve and popular attraction, known for its dramatic cliff top walk with panoramic views of the ocean and coastline. Most of it is fenced off at moment due to maintenance/ repairs redevelopment A spectacular setting, Diamond Bay Reserve has a 24h off-leash dog exercise area. Dogs are to remain on leash for the remainder of the cliff walk. Limited shade available, still no progress with installation of the viewing decks and cliff walk way!! There was only a few bits of timber installated in a long time ⌛️ can't see lookout/decks been usable any time soon”

A magnificent 50 m waterfall with multiple viewing stations so you can see it from different angles. Free carpark, picnic and barbecue facilities available. Highly ecommended!!!”

Wallaman Falls
4.8
( 16 reviews )

Lookout Rd, Wallaman QLD 4850, Australia

“Beautiful right now after recent rain. Facilities are great, maintained well etc. It is very hot and humid at the moment though- make sure you pack lots of water and bug repellent and be properly prepared for the walk down to the base of the falls.”

Little Crystal Creek

( 8 reviews )

LOT 93 Mount Spec Rd, Crystal Creek QLD 4816, Australia

Yarra Bend Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:59 PM

Yarra Bend Rd, Fairfield VIC 3078, Australia

“I honestly love this park, it's close enough to the city, yet it's rugged enough to encourage wildlife, and there's some great walks around the banks of the Yarra. There's an abundance of wildlife if you look for it. Eastern Bearded Dragons, snakes, fishing birds, black cockatoos (usually before rain), spiders etc. If you like your flowers there's plenty of those, too. It's come something for everyone. Places to relax, cycling, parks for the kids and walking tracks. The best tracks line the Yarra, but they aren't accessible for everyone, with steep, rocky faces in places. You cam cycle some of the tracks, but there are very steep faces and I've had to pull someone up before on an e-bike. I fell once myself and was lucky I never ended up in the Yarra. It's a fun park, though. There's currently renovations to too areas. It's getting more changes, and it will be more accessible from the Abbotsford side and Richmond side in the future. It's pretty accessible from the in most places, but check the website and stick to the paths. Sensitive wildlife and flowers are all over this park.”

Berowra Valley National Park
4.6
( 10 reviews )

83WV+V8, Hornsby Heights NSW 2077, Australia

“We spent the long weekend in Berowra, where they offer various trekking options to choose from. We opted for a moderate trek, starting early in the morning to avoid the midday heat, which turned out to be a wise choice because the sun …”

Cape Byron Walking Track
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:30 AM

199 Lighthouse Rd, Byron Bay NSW 2481, Australia

“Very nice view and walk to the most easterly point of the Australian mainland. Two stars less because of the overpriced parking fees around. If you park at the top you will be charged 10 AUD per vehicle.”

Hallett Cove Conservation Park
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Hallett Cove SA 5158, Australia

“Absolutely stunning place. The Glacier Walk is worth the steps but others may struggle so take your time. Found fossilized shells in the rockface bellow, squid eggs displaced after the storm and so much seaglass as well. Was a delightful visit.”

Forrest Caves
4.6
( 16 reviews )

Bass Strait, Phillip Island Rd, Newhaven VIC 3922, Australia

“The Forrest Caves is an awesome visit I always go past when traveling to Philip Island. Depending on where the tide is you can get a completely different experience to. Sometimes the whole cave is filled with water and you can walk ontop of it watching water splash up, other times it is dry and you can walk through it. Very interesting to check out. The sand on the beach there is also pretty squeaky so try that out for some extra fun!”

WMM7+57, Gloucester Tops NSW 2422, Australia

“Loved spending time at Barrington tops earlier this year. A serene place to go when u want peace and quiet under the stars. The nights spent star gazing I will never be able to forget. Got to watch some wildlife and the most beautiful waterfall up close.”

“Hiked the Kangaroo Trail and connected to the ridge trail. Hiked ~3 miles within an hour. Saw 3 kangaroos and a wallaby! We weren’t sure if we would see kangaroos but they happened to be on the path and quickly scurried away. Fun and easy hike- would recommend!”

“Absolutely beautiful, relaxing, serene walking trail, easy grade, and the walking trail is all the way along the Ovens river. The sounds of the flowing river is soothing and pleasant. Lisgar Gardens
4.5
( 8 reviews )

Lisgar Rd, Hornsby NSW 2077, Australia

“This place is perfect (on a quiet day) if you wanna listen to, watch and take photos of birds and the jungle-like landscape! I visited on 15.03.2023 and there weren't many blossoms but it was still beautiful. If you're scared of spiders like me, I recommend having someone with you that can walk through all the webs before you do 😂.”

Flinders Blowhole
4.6
( 16 reviews )

Flinders VIC 3929, Australia

“Beautiful spot. Definitely recommend taking a look. There are some steep steps which may be difficult for the elderly. However, there is a viewing platform at the carpark which has a great view of the overall area and does not require any access via stairs.”

Emerald Creek Falls
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Mareeba QLD 4880, Australia

“Nice place. We only went to the bottom of the waterfall and not to the lookout. Because of the floods, the last part was probably more "wet" than it usually is. The last 6 km of the road to the parking lot are not covered with tarmac, so expect to get the car dirty. Also, before the parking lot there is one passing over water which might be an issue for a normal sedan, because of the front bumper clearance (we drove a small SUV and had no issue).”

Frenchman Peak
4.8
( 16 reviews )

Cape Le Grand WA 6450, Australia

“The beginning of the trail is quite gentle with wildflowers and native bees, as well as some info plaques related to the Peak. Onwards and upwards, the trail becomes steep with some sections requiring scrambling. Once near the summit there is a sheltered area, makes for a good rest stop. The cave is quite close to the summit, you have to cross past the cave and then you’ll get to another steep section and then climb a few boulders and then you’ll be rewarded with great views (weather permitting).”
