Kaeng Tana National Park

( 10 reviews )

7FXG+QRW, Kham Khuean Kaeo, Sirindhorn District, Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand

“This national park is popular for rapids i.e. to see exposed rocks above the surface of a flowing river. But during my visit, it was a rainy season where the level of the river was very high and muddy so I couldn't see any rapids. However, I enjoyed walking and taking photographs on the longest suspension bridge in northeastern region of Thailand. During the rainy season, there is nothing more to see therefore I would recommend you all to visit during the dry season so that you can enjoy the view of rapids as well as take a walk on the rapids. Entry fee: fee applicable as per the fixed-rate of National park entrance fee. Time of travel: August 2018.”

Phu Kradueng

Si Than, Phu Kradueng District, Loei 42180, Thailand

“One of the best experiences here in Thailand. The hike to the top is hard but worth every drop of sweat, the nature is wonderful. The camping upstairs is fantastic organised with tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, blankets (make a reservation on the beforehand). There is sanitary (clean!), and very good restaurants with local food. We chose for a 3 nights stay and did the sunset and sunrise walks, in one worth mystical and unforgettable.”

Phu Lan Kha National Park

Closed until 06:00 AM

Huai Ton, Mueang Chaiyaphum District, Chaiyaphum 36000, Thailand

“Nice weather around January till March in every year. Good for camping, but need to bring your own food. It’s expensive over here. Toilet is clean, but walk a little far and no hot water. No bus station over here, you need to drive or ride your own mobile. Be careful road! It difficult to ride if you never ride up hill. I almost got accident! God bless me!!! Local people ride so fast.”
