15400 Le Claux, France
“Everything was magical, except for the flying ants on the top of the mountain that open attack on all visitors... so one advice, prepare for the insects attack by covering your skin with anti insects cream”

“Wow wow wow. Very nice hike with a really nice view in the top. I can only recommend.”

Rue de la Villemarque, 29930 Pont-Aven, France
“A very beautiful green place! Very calm and quiet. Has a great and interesting story.”

“Beware of Google Maps sending you down rutted muddy roads where you are likely to break an axle or get a flat then end up in the labyrinthine village built for pedestrians not cars. Oy. Best to use an old school REAL map. You have been warned.”
66360 Thuès-Entre-Valls, France
“Great views and lots of hanging bridges. A little bit crowded at times but nothing to worry about. The trail is of easy-moderate difficulty but you can choose to make it longer or shorter. The round circuit is about 3h long.”
74400 Chamonix, France
“Arguably the best hike in Chamonix if you're fit enough to make it to the top. The rewards for your efforts are huge, the views from la Jonction are breathtaking. You can cut around 300m elevation gain if you use the télésiege, it will leave you around 1400m to climb. The first half, to the Chalet des Pyramides is easy, gradient is steady and low and you can easily keep your pace. Some of the hikers finish here, you can have a modest lunch in the chalet, the view on the Bossons glacier is majestic. The second half is tougher as the path becomes much steeper and in some places requires some basic climbing skills. But I've seen even 8-9 yo deal with it with no problem. The children were clearly already experienced hikers despite their age. It took me just under 3 hours to climb to la Jonction from the télésiege arrival point.”
22800 Plaine-Haute, France
“A superb walk with a tropical forest feel in certain places. We did the whole route, 10 km. Bring a snack and water or you can relax at Saint Anne du Houlin, there are benches, WC and a tap for filling water bottles.😁😁😁 …”
Pont des Fées, 83310 Grimaud, France
“It was a nice experience to visit Le Pont des Fees. It is considered the lowest point of Grimaud village. The surprising thing was good internet connection even at that point. A good place to explore new culture.”
83600 Fréjus, France
“Wonderfull view up the highest point of the Esterel mountains. An easy 30-40 minutes walk up from the Maison de Malpey parking. There is also a beautifull walking path under the mountain taking you inside the Esterel forest. Enjoy views spanning from the Maure mouts to the south, the Verdon mounts, to the west, the Alps to the North-North-East to the sparkling blue waters of the mediterranean. On clear days the island of Corsica is visible to the South. Enjoy and respect this natural jewel !”
05160 Saint-Apollinaire, France
“Cute little lake with lots of shaded areas all around and plenty of picnic tables (including 2 handicapped picnic tables). The lake has a nice little restaurant right next to it. Ideal for cooling off …”
Chemin du raffourg, 39130 Le Frasnois, France
“A big thank you to Marie and Fixou for their warm welcome and this stay that was as exhilarating as it was delicious! A breath of fresh air, long rides in a great setting that makes you want to be discovered again in other seasons. Brave horses, in good spirits and sure-footed. In fact, we quickly feel confident with these horse riding professionals who don’t lack humor along the way! Spending the end of the year in the company of these kind hosts and with a group in the same state of mind, was a guarantee of the success of this stay which I recommend. In short, an address to stay and share to discover the region on horseback (or on foot). It did me a lot of good to get back into the swing of things in these conditions; to be renewed ;-)”
66150 Corsavy, France
“A place where you can accidentally get wet. Also be careful with your power, as it is a good test of stamina. Great place for a walk “through” the nature, amazing view. Nice detail is that all types of fauna are marked and given a small description. There are also some cafes and restaurants just on the entrance/exit, so you can restore some energy if you wish. Good place to enjoy the nature with friends or family in a pleasant way.”
