Diamond Bay Reserve
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Craig Ave, Vaucluse NSW 2030, Australia

“Diamond Bay Reserve is a beautiful cliff top reserve and popular attraction, known for its dramatic cliff top walk with panoramic views of the ocean and coastline. Most of it is fenced off at moment due to maintenance/ repairs redevelopment A spectacular setting, Diamond Bay Reserve has a 24h off-leash dog exercise area. Dogs are to remain on leash for the remainder of the cliff walk. Limited shade available, still no progress with installation of the viewing decks and cliff walk way!! There was only a few bits of timber installated in a long time ⌛️ can't see lookout/decks been usable any time soon”

“A must to see!!! The short, family-friendly Carrington Falls walking track offers fabulous waterfall views in Budderoo National Park, near Robertson. A magnificent 50 m waterfall with multiple viewing stations so you can see it from different angles. Free carpark, picnic and barbecue facilities available. Highly ecommended!!!”

Berowra Valley National Park
4.6
( 10 reviews )

83WV+V8, Hornsby Heights NSW 2077, Australia

“We spent the long weekend in Berowra, where they offer various trekking options to choose from. We opted for a moderate trek, starting early in the morning to avoid the midday heat, which turned out to be a wise choice because the sun …”

Cape Byron Walking Track
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:30 AM

199 Lighthouse Rd, Byron Bay NSW 2481, Australia

“Very nice view and walk to the most easterly point of the Australian mainland. Two stars less because of the overpriced parking fees around. If you park at the top you will be charged 10 AUD per vehicle.”

Barrington Tops National Park
4.7
( 10 reviews )

WMM7+57, Gloucester Tops NSW 2422, Australia

“Loved spending time at Barrington tops earlier this year. A serene place to go when u want peace and quiet under the stars. The nights spent star gazing I will never be able to forget. Got to watch some wildlife and the most beautiful waterfall up close.”

South Lawson Waterfall Circular Walking Track
4.8
( 16 reviews )

74 Honour Ave, Lawson NSW 2783, Australia

“Stunning walk and great for dogs”

Lisgar Gardens
4.5
( 8 reviews )

Lisgar Rd, Hornsby NSW 2077, Australia

“This place is perfect (on a quiet day) if you wanna listen to, watch and take photos of birds and the jungle-like landscape! I visited on 15.03.2023 and there weren't many blossoms but it was still beautiful. If you're scared of spiders like me, I recommend having someone with you that can walk through all the webs before you do 😂.”

Horse Head Rock
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Wallaga Lake NSW 2546, Australia

“We parked near camel rock and then did a trail work to see horse head rock. I think it took us 20 mins to get there by foot. The scenery was magnificent and the rock does resemble a horse head.”

Karloo Walking Track
4.7
( 8 reviews )

126 Wilson Parade, Royal Nat'l Park NSW 2232, Australia

“Nice pretty and diverse walk , just the right length for a child about one hour each way with the big reward reaching the Karloo pool for a nice swim and picnic. You can sit in the waterfall for a natural "spa". The walk is rated as hard because the path is uneven with steep climbs and descents over rocky uneven terrain. It is not very challenging but can be very slippery in wet weather.”

Drawing Room Rocks
4.8
( 16 reviews )

Broughton Vale NSW 2535, Australia

“Lovely little walk to the summit to visit the weathered rocks. The walk is pretty easy and about 200m in ascent on a well formed track. The summit does not have railings but it's easy to stay safe. The rocks have weathered into what looks like small tables and chairs (mimicking the layout of a Victorian drawing room). Parking is limited on the trail leading to the trail head but there seemed to be plenty of pull over spots and despite it being busy we were able to park 300m down the track and walk from there.”

Clarks Beach Park
4.7
( 10 reviews )
Open until 11:59 PM

2 Massinger St, Byron Bay NSW 2481, Australia

“Just a wonderful beach at Byron Bay, NSW. Parking available and the short walk to the beach is ideal...toilets and showers to rinse off! When the tide went out...top spot for a dip in the sand pools. With a good breeze....the kite surfers were out in force. Great views to mountains and then to the lighthouse. Beach Cafe and restaurant absolutely tops! ✔️🙌👌👍”

Cataract Dam
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

Cataract Road, Appin NSW 2560, Australia

“Great historical dam with amazing stone masonry structures, built-in 1906 for supply drinking water to Sydney. It was nice to walk across the bridge, to see pump house, water coming out at the basement, and beautiful natural views. Also there is a picnic area with gardens, kids play areas and BBQ facilities.”

Ganguddy-dunns Swamp Campground
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Wollemi National Park, NSW 2849, Australia

“Still one of my favourite camping spots well worth the drive from Sydney. The pagoda formations elevate your view above all the campsites and there are lots of campsites to enjoy, over 80 and they are spread comfortably around the bend of the river. We've been 4 times now and have enjoyed it equally each time. There's firewood available, fire-pits and clean bush toilets. With Southern Cross Kayaking you're able to hire Kayaks or enjoy their tours on school holidays. There's not a lot of walks, the Pagoda Lookout is well worth it. The weir walk is interesting though this time it was a little smelly. Kids love exploring the pagodas which are like mini Bungle Bungles. There's swimming to enjoy and Kookaburra beach is the best spot to enter the water. Mobile reception in the campsite is non existent, if you walk up The Pagodas in the middle get one bar of 3G on Telstra and you get more on the Pagoda lookout and the walk near the Weir.”

Bungonia National Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:59 PM

Bungonia Lookdown Rd, Bungonia NSW 2580, Australia

“Spent the weekend at Bungonia campground and hiked into Bungonia Slot Canyon (Red track). Absolutely spectacular in the canyon and a great challenging hike. Campground is vast with a pretty awesome enclosed camp kitchen which was a delight during the hot weather. Kitchen equipped with gas cooking and sinks. Bathrooms are big with a couple of hot water showers. We loved our weekend stay.”
