16362 Little Valley Rd, James Creek, PA 16657, United States

“We had a great time at this state park all the sites are worth seeing bathrooms are a little rough in some spots and they are pit toilets. Sites look close but we stayed in the cabin which is actually in the opposite direction of the camp sites. The cabin itself was very nice peice of property but needs a bit of upkeep as we had a few issues with well anything that involved water. The size of the cabin and being secluded made up for some of its down falls and it had air conditioning that while loud sometimes worked great”

“Beautiful park, great trails for everyone, so much fun! We took a brief hike up the Falls Trail and back the Gorge train and enjoyed the entire route! Our little pup came along and was leashed the whole time, as is required in the park. We saw a few other bikers on the trail, but it wasn't crowded. The sun and air were hot but the breeze and shade were cool. We even saw a bunch of different fungi around the forest floor! It was the perfect day for a hike in NEPA”

“Lovely park with the best of both worlds, there is a nice quiet creek that runs into Lake Erie. If you walk over the bluff, quite steep if you have trouble walking, there are great views and you get to the mouth of the creek with crashing waves and more driftwood than I've ever seen in one place. Beautiful”

Bake Oven Knob

Appalachian National Scenic Trail, Germansville, PA 18053, United States

“Great view of Lehigh Valley from one of the highest points! You can park close by at the top of the ridge in order to access via a short hike in along state game land. Otherwise, roll the dice on taking a longer trek from the Appalachian Trail further down.”

White Cliffs Of Conoy
4.6
( 16 reviews )

Marietta, PA 17547, United States

“Had a good time on the river as usual. There is an easy and well groomed walking path, that feature quite a few bikes. Several of them seemed more concerned with speed than safety. The path is macadam and about 4 feet wide. There are a few stops along the way with lookouts, several building remains, and a few places to walk along the railway if you wanted. The cliffs themselves were pretty cool. Not allot of climbing or exploring to be had, been still pretty cool to entertain us for a couple hours. (Mostly wading in the river or walking). There is a nice view from the top, and several pathways down to the waters edge. The beach area is shallow, but not far away from strong currents (not sure what the river level was at The time). All in all, I'm sure we'll be back, but will probably plan on spending most of our time wading in the water”

Crystal Lake Park
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 04:30 PM

2401 Axe Factory Rd, Bordentown, NJ 08505, United States

“Very pretty park to walk around the trails, bathhouse is well taken care of, free WiFi, wildlife comes out, nice to come out of the house and work remotely from. But unfortunately loaded with ticks even in November, and other people don't feel like they have to follow the leash law here with their dogs,.”

Blue Bell Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

842 W Walnut Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19144, United States

“Essentially an off leash dog park during after work hours. Great spot to hit the trails with your dog as this park connects to the Wissahickon. Massive space for dogs to run. Also a lovely park for kids during the weekend when people are less likely to bring off leash dogs. There is also a fire place beneath a lean-to to get warm and cozy during the winter with the family.”

Cucumber Falls
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Sr2010, Dunbar, PA 15431, United States

“It's pretty neat. There's a parking lot right at the top, and it's just a short walk down to the falls. You can get right up to it, if you want to. It can be slippery (obviously), and the "trail" kind of stops when you reach the stream. Parking lot fills up fast on weekends during the summer, so plan to see it early in the morning or hike there from somewhere else.”

D&l Trailhead (slatington)
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Slatington, PA 18080, United States

“I rode my bike from Slatington to the West Bowman area. It was very scenic and interesting. I also enjoyed the Kittatinny arboretum and the Nature Center along the route.”

“If my words don't paint the picture, maybe the pictures i took will. This place was absolutely beautiful all the way through. I love a good pine forest as it has the best of greens to offer. Many creeks leading to a large river ahead, and trails aplenty. If you're trying to unwind in peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Lodging and campsites are available and restroom amenities are abundant. I will be back in the spring. I didn't have signal with firstnet until left the area, this may apple to atnt as well so be prepared to be in total peace.”

Blue Knob State Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Park Rd, Imler, PA 16655, United States

“A lovely park, even off season. A few cute trails (Lost Turkey trail, and Chappells Field trails are recommended), a campground, a regional pool, picnic areas, and much nature. Could use a bit more parking close to the trails, but overall a great place to hike, camp, walk or run.”
