“We hiked a section of the Tecumseh Trail from Prang Pond to Yellowwood Dam, roughly 6-7 miles. There was a light dusting of snow at our start but pretty much all gone by the time we reached the dam. This is a great hike, well maintained and clearly marked. We were the only hikers on the trail, albeit it was overcast and a bit dreary so laybe that is why. There are a few slight inclines, but nothing too serious. You do need 2 vehicles, one parked at each section end or be prepared to double your mileage.”

“We stopped here to visit family. We stayed for the beauty. This is a very small campground in a county park. There are a few FHU spots up front. However, we chose the electric/water only sites in the woods. The sites are gravel, and not all of them are level. We picked site #19, which is almost perfectly level. There is a picnic shelter for large group gatherings in the loop at the end of the road. There are vault toilets here that don't look very well taken care of. There is a playground up front and restrooms with showers. The camp host is very nice and very helpful. If we ever come back this way, we will definitely stop here again.”

“This is by far my favorite place to go hiking ... I love going and watching momma with her twins, and today, I got a rare glance at a baby buck. It's very relaxing to go into the interpretive center and see the displays, and don't forget to visit the Raptor display.”

“What a great place! Clean, soft sandy beach. Water is pretty shallow for a ways out, perfect for kids! We had a great time”

“Excellent Park for Outdoor Dog Events! We were there this weekend for a Fast Cat event with the Evansville Agility Club. Coming all the way from Cape Girardeau, Missouri we found the park very easily. The dog run was in the perfect location -- very flat and nice mowing job done on it and the path to walk to the fenced area. (The Bathrooms however... needed some attention. A little blue bowl cleaner and a bowl scrub brush and an attendant for all the trash would have been an easy fix) Other than that, it was a nice facility.”
