“We just explored one of the roads and we came to exactly opposite to Dukes Nose. No one was here and we could get some peaceful time and absorbed these beautiful views from across. We also saw a train in the distant and it looked just amazing and dangerous at the same time! We also could see the new tunnels being built - this should cut down the time travel by another 20-25 minutes. But we are still on scenic routes for now and enjoying them 😍”

Darya Ghat
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Maharashtra, India

“Darya Ghat 🏞️ is a must visit place in Monsoons. It is located around 125 kms from Pune and it takes around 3 hours to reach there. You can put the location on Google Maps and you would easily reach the place. You have to park your vehicles where the road ends and a short hike begins from this place. A hike of 30 mins will take you to some magnificent waterfalls and yes there is not one waterfall but a series of waterfalls where you can enjoy. The views are absolutely magnificent and the beauty would just blow your mind. I would suggest reach in the morning as early as possible so that you won't encounter much of the crowd. As the day starts progressing, the crowd increases at these waterfalls. You can easily choose your spot for enjoying the waterfalls as there are many and as you go higher & higher you would get more secluded spots to enjoy.🏞️ It is advisable to go in groups. The hike/trek is easy, waterfalls are safe but remember as it's monsoons it can get slippery at lot of places so please be careful. The spot you have parked your vehicle, you would find a small shop which serves Vada Pav, Kanda Bhaji and Tea. On the back side, there is a house, you can change clothes, they charge Rs 10 per person for the same. This spot is famous among local people and around but now it is also gaining popularity among people from Pune & Mumbai.🤟🏻 Disclaimer - Keep The Environment Clean!🌴🌱🌿🏞️ Do Not Litter🚫”
