Markethill, Armagh BT60 1GD, United Kingdom

“We had such an amazing time walking around Gosford Park! Lots of historical features (walled garden, castle, well, bridges...) A great variety of trees (native and imported) plenty to do for kids such as low ropes course, swings, ziplines, slides, climbing ...(or for grown up if you're lucky to go when kids are at school) Loved looking at the deers. There are a few trailers on the car park (coffee, ice cream and chippie) Bathrooms available. Several playgrounds by the car park. Camping facilities. Walking and bike trails. Even have a bike repair station!”

Torr Head
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Ballycastle BT54 6RQ, United Kingdom

“First time visit, don't like driving up the mountain route to Torr Head though, roads too narrow, dreading to see when there's oncoming car, not enough room for 2 cars. Lovely views when we reach the top of the decommissioned war tower (?) There's a ruin nearby. Shame there's not much information for the area.”

“Lovely place, good clean trails. You do need a lot of time to do all the area, there is a small restaurant there, clean toilets and easy to access parking. You do need a dry day tho cause it can get quite slippery”

Davagh Forest Trails - Mtb Trailhead
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Davagh Rd, Omagh BT79 8JQ, United Kingdom

“Beautiful forest. My children found it to be a magical place with all of the fairy mushrooms and mossy ground. I especially enjoyed the walk from the OM centre to the Stone circles. Definitely doable with active children. Great experience.”

Helen's Tower
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Clandeboye Rd, Bangor BT23 4RX, United Kingdom

“Grand Old Duke of York walk. Bit of a hike up through the woods which is scenic and peaceful but no view due to the trees when you're there.”

Giant's Ring
4.4
( 16 reviews )
Open until 09:00 PM

Belfast BT8 8LE, United Kingdom

“Walked here from Minowburn car park via the terrace garden. There is a car park right next to this if you just want to see the ring, depending on what time you visit probably space there for about 10-15 cars. You can walk around the outer ditch to take in some views of the surrounding area. There are a few stones remaining inside to look at. Including the Terrace garden, the walk took me approximately an hour with a few stops and detours.”

Mourne Mountains
4.9
( 10 reviews )

Newry BT34 5XL, UK

“Absolutely love this place it's like another world up there. Some much to see and so many hiking trails to follow. You'd never be stuck for a good trail to follow. There's plenty of carparks dotted around the mournes. Some are free so are just a few pound for the day.. campsite or you can wild camp and challenge the wall spend 2 days hiking around the wall. Few loughs and silent valley is a must see. Just check the weather before attending any trails just so you know what your in for. Nice clear day and you'll will be blown away with the beauty of the mournes. Newcastle Town is lovely aswell right beside the sea. With loads of shops and food places... you do find a few coffee trucks at the carparks . Nice for after a hike. We parked at mellmore Lodge for £4 and they had everything on site you'd need. Your best of looking at what mountain range your doing and find a carpark that's close to that. Carricklittle carpark is a good one aswell or the bloody bridge carpark and you can do the mournes coastl walk from there. That's a lovely little cool down after the mountains.”
