“Easy to find trail, beautiful views all around you. The trail isn't hard to hike and doesn't take too long to loop around it. It's a great place to see the waterfalls and walk the trail to burn some of these holiday calories.”
2051 Park Dr, Catawba, SC 29704, United States
“Absolutely beautiful park. We were there for the Spider Lily festival. Did not disappoint. All the trails are spacious enough for stroller and dog, aren't too strenuous to hike, and offer views of the lush forest, the Catawba river, and of course all the historical landmarks. Wonderful place for families, animals, and adventurers alike!”

“Had a wonderful, peaceful walk New years Eve here. 😌 very beautiful if you ignore the huge powerlines, lol. Regardless, it's a wonderful walk and beautiful river. I saw they had a place for people to go tubing, way too cold for that in the …”

“Beautiful state park built by the CCC in the 1930's. Needs work on the spillways. Campground road needs repaving. Campground needs anew bathhouse. More RV sites would be nice. We camped here twice this trip. Going south and returning north. Campground full on Saturday. A group of Scouts with their families put the primitive camping area to good use. It was great seeing families enjoying this park. On Tuesday and Wednesday just 6 to 8 campsites being used. November 7th and 8th.”

“Hiked the JFA Trail. Liked that hikers and bikers go opposite direction. Nice workout but not many views as it's all under tree line.Note: Falls are on a separate shorter trail”

“This is a great spot to camp, we've done so twice now in @Ramona_the_airstream . Campground is near, nestled in the pines. Bathrooms are decent, clean, and good hot showers. I love the natural spring there! I fill my water bottle on the way out every time. Delish. Also, we rented kayaks to float the river which is also a really neat experience. There's an easy walking trail from the campground, but that's it. More hiking opportunities would be neat.”

“Nice relaxing place to walk your dog and take a hike”
5200 Savannah Hwy, Ravenel, SC 29470, United States
“I definitely recommend this little gem! We didn’t have a lot of time to explore but next visit we will allow for more time here! Beautiful scenery, great nature hikes, interesting museum talking about the rice plantation, gift shop and lots of wildlife! The trails are easily marked and easy to walk.”
