19545 NE Redmond Rd, Redmond, WA 98053, United States

“Old growth magic! So many different trail areas in this little gym of a hiking. Any equestrian park that is so close to downtown Bellevue and always one of my favorite spots to see old growth wilderness. An incredible place for family hikes with large open areas as well with picnic tables and amenities. This is a great place to get away for a day either by yourself or with a family. It is one of my favorite places when the rains come and new mushrooms are about 🍄💚🍄”

Olallie State Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 06:30 AM

51350 SE Homestead Valley Rd, North Bend, WA 98045, United States

“Olallie State Park is gorgeous, and definitely worth the trip. The photos you see on social media don’t do it justice, must see with your own eyes. Pros + 2.6 miles round trip with only a 500 foot elevation gain. Most of that elevation gain is all at once, but not a terribly hard hike. + Three different main stops to view the waterfall, at the halfway point you can see the falls from a distance if you don’t want to continue on, towards the very end of the trail you will take some stairs down to see the falls as pictured in social media, and then a short walk past the stairs you can walk a bridge that is directly over the falls. + River views almost the whole hike Cons - Muddy and ROCKY! Wear proper shoes that will keep you from slipping! I did not, and slipped and landed on a rock. It gets very slippery on this hike. - PARKING. There is not a lot of parking, and you may need to park up to almost a mile away from the trailhead. - Bathrooms, limited restrooms and they are very dirty. When I was visited there was no soap or water so bring some hand sanitizer!”

Deception Falls
4.9
( 8 reviews )

Washington 98288, United States

“It is so beautiful and peaceful!! We were staying in Skykomish and came across deception falls. Very easy hike with amazing views of the falls, streams, and forest. I have back issues and was able to do the whole loop with no issues. There are restrooms in the parking lot, and the trail takes you in a loop, so you end back in the same parking lot, taking either entrance. If you are in the area, I recommend it!”

Lakeridge Park
4.5
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 04:00 AM

10201 Holyoke Way S, Seattle, WA 98178, United States

“This is an excellent park with a trail that meanders up the Taylor Creek canyon. There are several wooden bridges and steps. Trail is well maintained. There is a pullout for parking that can absorb about 4 cars. No facilities. Trail map at entrance. Beautiful views of the forested ravine.”

Denny Creek Campground
4.4
( 16 reviews )

I-90, North Bend, WA 98045, United States

“Beautiful campgrounds, well maintained, clean restrooms with flushable toilets. Electricity too! Picnic tables and a fire pit with a grill. We reserved the site online a couple months ago. We paid $8 on site for an extra car parking overnight. Heard the waxing and waning sound of the flowing river all night. The river stream is accessible for some water play with the kids but is very rocky. Access to plenty of hiking trails nearby. We have been here 3 times now, always a good experience!”
