“Really we loved this ancient subramanya swamy temple. Massive praharam as well the moolagraha. Main deity subramanya idol is almost 6 ft Height but placed on elevated steps, so if you want to worship from outside, you have to bend or almost kneel down to see the idol. Yesterday was aarattu festival for the god and we were blessed to see the good taking holy bath. Temple timings are between 5 to 12 noon and 5 to 8 pm. You love the peace and serenity when the temple is not crowded. Temple is very near to Haripad railway station.”

Neyyar Dam, Trivandrum, Kerala 695572, India

“I was here as part of the Yoga vacation program during the January month. In the midst of western ghats alongside Neyyar dam, this place provides a very good environment to practice Yoga. This place is spiritually vibrant and one can feel that during morning and evening meditation and chantings. The food provided here is satvik which is nutritious for both body and mind. Spiritual trip from the Ashram side was also great. During this journey, I learned many things from various spiritual experiences and cultures of others. At the end of my stay, I felt quite calm minded, focussed and spiritually connected. In the end, in such places, it really depends what you are searching for.”
