Harvington Hall

( 16 reviews )

Harvington Hall Ln, Harvington, Kidderminster DY10 4LR, United Kingdom

“An amazing place to visit. Our guild Wendy was so nice and knowledgeable she made the experience even better. It has the most priest holes then any other house I have been to. To day they had a reenactment, the costume were great and the guns and canon were loud and amazing. It cost £12 to enter, it's not national trust but I was happy to pay it. I would recommend a visit and will go back with my grandkids”

“Lovely few hours wandering the grounds and exploring the grounds. Didnt do the tunnel tour but had a lovely walk and read all the info boards etc. Lovely cafe with reasonably price snacks. Ample parking which was free today but normally ANPR controlled by private firm. Friendly staff. Will be visiting again and next time will book a tunnel tour ( bookable online online)”

Rye Harbour Holiday Park
4.4
( 16 reviews )

Harbour, Rye Harbour, Rye TN31 7TX, United Kingdom

“A lovely setting right next to the nature reserve. There are amenities on site like a bar that provides entertainment if that’s your thing. Just outside the venue is the William the Conqueror pub and a little cafe that is open in the mornings, although not every day. Take a walk to the sea shore passing the Discovery centre to look at the many different birds and if you’re lucky you may see seals in the river. It’s ideal for a short break to get away from it all, lovely and peaceful.”

Viking Bay
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Broadstairs CT10 1QS, UK

“I don’t really fancy the beaches in UK. However, this is a nice, sandy beach. There are public toilets and changing cabinets, shops for drinks and playground for kids. It was difficult to find a parking. P.S: Don’t forget to check the tides before you visit any seaside for swimming. You might be surprised if you find not even a drop of water. ☺️”

Longleat House
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Longleat House, Warminster BA12 7NW, United Kingdom

“Best day trip ever! Wish I had longer but what I got to see was perfect! Such a fun day out perfect for people with and without children! I would recommend arriving for opening if you want to make the most of your money! Festival of lights was amazing even though it was raining”

Chilford Hall Vineyard

Closed until 09:00 AM

Balsham Rd, Linton, Cambridge CB21 4LE, United Kingdom

“Great tour of vineyard, interesting and knowledgeable guide. Lovely wine tasting, excellent "champagne". Only let down was the afternoon tea - it was all factory made, Mr Kipling-type cakes.”

Old Gorhambury House
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

A414, St Albans AL3 6AH, United Kingdom

“Beautiful location, and must have been stunning in its day. Now sadly a small ruin but still lovely and a great place to take in the view and rest after a long walk from the gateway.”

“we used this booking agent for London at night tour. booking online was easy, then you'll receive an email with tickets. your also provided a meeting place. ours was the park at the London eye. we take the tube walk a few blocks to the meeting area. this is where things started to slip. on the street, there are several open top tour buses none of which indicate what tour group they belong. we walked around found a man with a suit arguing with another man from a tour. I saw in his hand a clipboard with tour names. so I asked which was our tour he speaks very little English. he directed us to a bus that the top deck was already full. we climb the steps found a seat inside the rain cover it's hot and you can't see out. the windows where very scratched. now we arrived at 7:20 for the 8:00 tour we found out the company had grossly over booked the 7:00 tour and our seats where filled by earlier tourists. the tour guide was excellent. the tour itself was mediocre at best. you drive around London at a snail pace starting while it was still light. being inside severely limited our ability to see much. so if you take this tour demand, you get seated in the open area or get a refund.”
