“This is a nice and cozy place for persons with kids. But totally not recommended if you are not with kids…especially at dinner time when all the kids are running and screaming around you. The food is very good. After a first impression not really ok, Saturday and Sunday were super good. If you are here for nature, you are in Paradise. But be carefully on the stray dogs that are unfortunately around in the area…The rooms are nice and very clean!”

“We've been coming here with big groups for the last 4 years, and it's always been a pleasure. The rooms aren't always the best, and depending on where your room is, you may have issues with getting hot water in the evening. The food is decent, and you have free soda refills when at breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is really friendly and have attention to detail. Overall a great place to stay”

“We stayed for 5 days at Hotel Hermes. The staff were very very friendly and accommodating. Coffee is available at the reception in the morning which is also open 24hours. The room was spacious, with a balcony and air conditioning. Our room was clean and the shower was hot and powerful. The toiletries available were shampoo, conditioner and a hand soap. I would of preferred a small body wash too which they did not have. The location of the hotel is excellent. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the main part of town where most of the the restaurants are. One negative would be that the bed was hard which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Saying that, I would still recommend the hotel and we would definitely stay there again.”

“Before choosing this hotel I read the reviews which all were good, the staff were very friendly, food was good etc. This could not have been further from the truth unfortunately. We interacted with the staff 3 times in all and actually the interaction consisted of me standing there while they were on the phone ignoring us. Twice we had to walk away without even being acknowledged. The rooms air con was poor at best as such we didn't sleep due to the heat. We paid for bed and breakfast.....on our 2nd day we went for breakfast. We were the only ones there the bread was stale the staff put the kettle on then left when I went to make coffee there was none. In all we couldn't eat anything and didn't even get a coffee. I thought I was supporting one of the smaller hotels by staying there and also based on the reviews it seemed like a decent place. Didn't need to be 5 star etc. So disappointed to say I would never ever stay here again and unfortunately I can't even recommend it.”

“We are on TET Romania. We chose Villa Julia to stay for the night. So the rooms are not that clean, there is no instant warm water to shower (you have to wait 20 minutes for the boiler to hit it up). The food instead is excellent, the service is ok. The location is pretty close to the city center but the railroad is near the building so it is pretty noisy. You can park the motorcycles safely. All in all it has 3 stars from us.”
