“Horrible experience! Stayed in “gums” where they don’t designate spots. They booked in so many people we could barely get a spot. We would have had no more than 3m x 3m! For the price we paid they should be regulating how many people they allow in! The whole campground was a mosquito ridden mud swamp. Had to walk through 100m of ankle deep mud to get to toilet blocks, only 6 individual toilets for the entire camp ground (maybe 400 people camped there if not more.) The toilets filthy and always no toilet paper Bins overflowing everywhere all over the ground, not exaggerating there would have been 50 plastic bags of rubbish sitting next to the main skip bin next to the bistro Any slight rain and the whole place floods, our tent flooded on the second night and we were forced to leave as we had nowhere to sleep, we spoke to 10 other groups of people who all left also. The place is a mess. Told the staff what happened and they couldn’t care less no sympathy and definitely no offer of a refund they just expected everyone to stay camped in a sloppy mud pit. Obviously money hungry owners trying to jam as many people in to make a quick buck. NEVER AGAIN…”

All toilets, showers are well kept clean and having laundry facilities in is a bonus for any one on the travels for prolong amount of times. Shared kitchen area is another great facility if you are stopping there over night and you don't want to set up your full set up for cooking...”

“We enjoyed our stay at Coolwaters. The amenities were great with plenty of hot water. The staff are friendly and reception is stocked with everything from bait to ice and gas. We loved our daily texts with details on community activities, food and coffee vans at the park. Unfortunately no personal fires are allowed but the 3 communal fire pits are well serviced and stocked. Book well in advance to avoid missing out. While we don't have kids, this park would be the bees knees for them with a water park, tennis and jumping pillow on offer! If you have the opportunity to go to Bob's Bush Poetry, you'll be glad that you did!”

“The owners are great, but the caravan park feels off for some reason. They have a pass code to get into the grounds and one to get out. Then there is a separate code needed for the laundry, bathroom, and kitchen. The kitchen wasn't nice, the cupboards are all screwed shut, the counter tops aren't clean and the fridge was also dirty. The unpowered campsite overflow area was quite pretty and well maintained.”
