“This is a friendly and family run campsite in beautiful mountain scenery. We stayed here a couple of nights and climbed up Monti Ventossa directly from the site. We had a pitch with a gorgeous view of Pietra di Bismantova, the distinctive shaped hill along the valley. The facilities are good and clean and they are dotted around this large and rambling campsite. Bread is available even out of season. The owners gave us lots of information on walks in the area.”

“I didn’t sleep well because it took the a/c all night to cool the room down from 27 Celsius to 22 Celsius. Also, I didn’t eat well because we were given only antipasti and primi for dinner. Maybe the problem was that I was booked into the hotel by Lufthansa due to a cancelled flight from Bologna airport. In any case, the hotel is clean and its staff is polite and helpful where they can.”

“Awesome place to stay at Cattolica. The owner speaks English. They helped us with printouts of timings of buses, locations marked on maps, and even kept our bags for free in our room when we went for the MotoGP race. The rooms were extremely clean and well serviced. The close proximity to the bus pick up point to Tavullia was an added bonus. At night it is also very quiet. The rooms had air conditioning and everything worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.”
