“It is clean and organized, but that always comes at a price. Expensive, lots of rules, and facilities that were closed for cleaning when I would usually consider it time to use the bathrooms. Some people love that sort of place. I enjoyed being able to use the dog shower to bathe my terrier, but did not like wearing a wet, cloth wristband at all times so the staff could identify me as a guest from a distance. There are good things and bad things, as I said. If it doesn't sound like your kind of place, there are more down the street, but if it does, enjoy.”

“We had a dayspa with a gourmet dinner in this hotel, a unique experience, from the outside the structure looked small but once we entered we immersed ourselves in an incredible spa with many relaxation areas, saunas of various types, swimming pools and even a dedicated space tea and dried fruit, the sky pool was beautiful and the sauna on the top floor had a beautiful view. In the early afternoon a snack was opened at. Buffet with desserts but also pasta for those who haven't had lunch. The dinner was excellent, like every gourmet dinner the portions weren't very large but luckily before they start bringing the dishes a large buffet was open with appetizers of all kinds! Absolutely recommended for a day of total relaxation!”

“The main gate was closed when we arrived. It took some time to reach someone. When we finally contacted the owner over the phone, she said that we didn´t have any reservation (I did have the confirmation from booking)… after a few minutes of arguing she offered one room for us… but the next problem was our dog - they are forbidden (even tho booking says it’s dog-friendly)… The main gate is manually controlled, so you have to be back before 9pm, otherwise nobody opens it for you… Nobody speaks english The staff was rude and unprofessional We felt extremely unwelcome”

“My family of 4 adults stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Antares Residences last week. We were very excited for this trip, but continually ran into issues at the hotel. The good: - Size of the Residences apartment is comfortable and large bathroom. Hotel seems newly renovated. - Beautiful view from our room - Central location near shops and supermarkets - Breakfast buffet is decent They are listed as a 4-star hotel without 4 star amenities or service. Here is the bad: - Bathroom sink did not drain. We had to stick a knife to hold the plug open just to wash our hands every day. - Dishwasher did not work and smelled inside. Requested assistance and they couldn’t figure it out. - You have to remove your own trash like an Airbnb or be fined. - Swimming pool is so small and humid. They do not provide towels. - My parents had dinner at the hotel restaurant and both had bowel issues until the next morning. We told the manager at breakfast and he responded “was it the sushi?” But that was all. - I prepaid for 4 days of 4 adult breakfast buffets but they didn’t seem to have that record strangely. One morning the manager brought me the bill and I had to correct him. Two other mornings, I requested takeaway breakfast because we had to leave very early (and they could not cancel/refund it) and they gave the most pathetic sandwiches that aren’t even fresh items from their buffet and definitely not worth $15pp. They prepared the wrong quantity another time and I had to request a refund. Just a mess!”

“My wife and I loved our stay. Came up during the Maratona ‘22 and they staff were friendly and helpful. They amenities are next level and immensely helped with my recovery. We didn’t initially book dinners but after our first night trying the menu we realized it would be better than commuting into a nearby village! Would happily stay here again. My top tip: there is a checkout process vs most (American) hotels where you simply leave. You’re welcome 🙂”
