We found a very nice, very modern, super friendly run by family hotel and an outstanding well serving food restaurant in Southern Germany worth every km we drove down from the north of Germany. No chance to take pics of the really delicious food in the restaurant - we ate it right away. The sauna area in the top floor is „wow“. Honestly this is how hotels should be run. Sorry, that I can only give 5 stars. The sixth should be for friendliness and anticipation of the guests needs.”

“🙂 Wonderful location, the views and the surroundings are amazing, especially during winter time. The hotel is very comfortable, our room was very spacious, nice bathroom. There's too much light coming from the windows in the morning, but since breakfast is until 10h30, that's ok. The staff was very friendly, especially the lady during our check-in and the gentleman that served us during dinner, as they both spoke in English with us, which was great. They were also extremely polite and welcoming. The restaurant was excellent! The food was amazing each time, it was a pure delight! Very pleased with our stay! Will definitely come back! ☹️ The indoor-pool's water could be warmer and we were told we could get a parking spot, but we only saw outdoor places (which may get filled quickly?...). Since it wasn't snowing, that was ok, but we would prefer a closed garage. That, and too much light in our room in the morning, were the only (very) minor setbacks.”

“The circular setup sounds like a good idea but doesn't allow for any privacy. 2 out of 3 showers were closed because they were broken (yes that means there was only one left, and yes that means there were only 3 to begin with) also, what they failed to tell us at reception is that we had to pay for the showers (is that still a thing?) We were located right next to a youth camp which meant ridiculous amounts of noise which again they didn't mention at reception. There is free wifi available, but it's pretty bad. The location is beautiful, the 'strand bad' next door (which you get free passes for) is pretty, but it doesn't make up for flaws of this place. Overall a disappointing stay.”

“Great location but a slightly weird campsite, half made up of static, permanent (trailer) caravans with tents and the rest for visitors. Found the toilet facilities a bit.... Varied (one was good, one was not), the plots are small and very much sandwiched together, they have really squeezed every last usable space for renting out. The pool is great, good that it has smaller pools for tiny children separate from the larger one. Kids play area is good but not great for say kids under 4. Would visit the area again but would be willing to sacrifice access to the pool for somewhere with a bit more.....space”
