“What can I say that hasn’t already been said about this hotel. Me, my husband and our three kids were just there for 3 nights. We have stayed at a few 4,5 star family hotels in the Austria region already but this hotel was by far the best. The room, the food, the service, the kids fun/aqua park and also the area for hiking. Everything was awesome. We are hoping to make it back there during ski season. Not usually one to write reviews but for this hotel I couldn’t not write one. Before we stay at hotels we always check the reviews and try to filter through the legit ones to get a good idea of the place. This hotel gets 5/5 and is worth the money. If you have the opportunity to go there- it will not disappoint!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of three (infant child). The hotel, room and facilities are spotless and very well maintained. The location is great for the Spieljoch skiing area & there is a frequent bus to Hochfügen. Breakfast is wonderful with a great variety of options. Dinner was amazing as well. Waitress Judith attended to our every need (she is a real gem - one of the best & friendliest hospitality professionals I've ever met). We look forward to returning next year!”

“Exceptional is an understatement. The hotel is amazing, from the comfort of the rooms, the food, the location, the sauna area, the friendliness of the staff and the entire ambience. The hotel is located a short walk away from the ski lift and has the most amazing sauna area for after ski relaxing. The food at the restaurant is exceptional...in variety, taste and presentation. I could not have asked for a better place to spend my Xmas break...thank you for the most amazing experience and stay at your hotel. I will most DEFINITELY be back...perhaps even make this our annual winter getaway place 😊”

“I booked 2 rooms: one for 2 people and one for 3 (1 adult, 2 kids)- see the photo The gentleman that checked us in was extremely kind and offered to help with the luggage and really gave us a warm welcome. Both rooms offered everything that we needed and were super comfortable. Most importantly we all slept really well in the super quiet environment as the building is located behind the restaurant and thus further away from the street. The view from our balcony was also extremely pretty. Only things that could be better: On Sunday the damn church started ringing their bells already at 6am, which is complete lunacy And it would nice that the breakfast could be already included in the current room price. But we bought it separately and it offered a small but nice buffet selection of different breads, cheeses and cured meats.”

“What a beautiful hotel! We ski as a family every year and would 100% come back. They were so helpful with room situations. Spa is beautiful- so relaxing. Staff were amazing. Ski bus comes right outside and the town is a 15 minute walk ! It was ideal and perfect !”

“The room was clean, but had no fridge in it. The whole place has a new and fresh feeling to it, which was nice. We arrived at around 01:30, a machine gave us our card to our room by entering our name in. It was soulless but it worked. There was nobody at the reception when we left around 10:30 either. The breakfast was good, it had a lot of vegan options as well. The breakfastroom was also clean. The coffee and the cake with it were both great. My partner had a cappuccino, that came with chocolate. You can't get it without. It was weird, but also good. Overall, especially for the price, it is a not perfect but a very good option to sleep on the way, especially for the price.”

“Peace & Relax!!! The best place to calm down, detox and rehabilitation... I was impressed by the landscape as soon we arrived! I immediately "lower speed" of my brain and in a couple of hours I felt my body and soul in total harmony. The food in the restaurant was always fresh with high quality ingredients. Last, the combination of local Muskateller wine with the view of the wine yards is a sense to remember... Thank you Andreas & Michaela for this creation!!!”

“Just returned after staying for a week. The location couldn't be better, sat opposite the main gondola. The food was spot on - great quality and plenty of choice. The staff are also brilliant - they are friendly, attentive and really helpful. Having boarded in Austria several times in the past, I echo some of the other comments in saying this is way more that a 3* hotel and the food, staff and rooms are better than some of the 4/5* places I have stayed before.”

“This was the best Austrian experience we could have ever asked for. We came in hoping to find a last minute table on a Saturday (try to reserve ahead if you can - this place is popular!) and they initially apologized and said that they didn’t have any more tables available. That’s when Stefan (the owner - far right in the image) walked up and found us a space to eat and enjoy the evening - and boy did we!! We ended up being the last guests there - drinking Schnaps and singing along with the locals to music from all over the world at the big Stammtisch. The food was excellent - traditional and amazing. But above all, The people at this restaurant are so welcoming and they gave us a once in a lifetime experience. We couldn’t stop Smiling and we couldn’t be more grateful. Hopefully we will be back soon - I already know where we will eat when we return! 🥳Stefan, we wish you all the best! Thank you so much for the best night !”

“I celebrated my birthday at this hotel. Myself, stayed for the weekend. The staff is very friendly. the room is average and tidy with a view of the small grounds and the lake. the bathroom is spacious. the hotel cosmetics smell incredible, I wanted one for my home! 😂 I would like to come back here again, not just for the lake, but for the hotel itself 👍”

“We had a great stay - comfortable rooms, delicious food and easy access to the aquapark. The whole hotel is centred around children - rooms have all amenities for toddlers and babies, a huge indoor playground with activities for big and small children. The only minus for us was the lack of balcony to dry swimwear and chill in the evening.”

“Located in the center of the town - 10 minutes from the ski slopes. The receptionist (who seems to be the hotel manager) only speaks German and don't expect to be treated kind or to apologise after even such a big mistake as mixing up rooms and reservations. The whole facility is around 40 years old as I assumed and the lack of proper maintenance and renovation starts to show both on the interior and the furniture. The restaurant is good yet really basic in terms of the offered meals. It is not the hotel you'd imagine to be 4 star.”

“Stayed there for two night. Lovely rooms. Friendly staff. Very central in Steyr. Wasn't charged any extra for the beer I took from the minibar because "the room was so small". Though I had no complaints about it. A bit poor wifi signal at the room. And there weren't separate shampoo and conditioners in the shower. Just the normal shower soap. Brekfeast a bit poor as well. Though I attended it in the last second.”
