“We stayed in a cabin during 2 nights in October. It was simply wonderful. The cabins were cosy. They have everything you might need for your stay. It was so peaceful, and the view was amazing. There is a little store on the grounds where we got our provisions for the first night. After that, we used the store near the docks. (it's basically down the road) The host was friendly and helpful. I didn't add 5 stars for service because of a minor detail. We opted to use towels and linen from the camping. The only linen they have is for single beds, so we had to use linen for 2 single beds to make the double bed. If I had known that beforehand, I would've chosen to bring linen for the double bed and still rent the rest. But the host explained how to best make the beds with singles, and it worked out fine. A cruise ship docked on the day we left, and I was happy we were on our way out because suddenly, all the peace and quiet was gone. I think this will be a very busy place during spring and summer. This might change the whole ambience of the place. Another thing I wish I'd known beforehand is the road closures in the area. When travelling during autumn and winter, some roads might be closed for safety reasons or for maintenance. This really adds to your travel time. So check up on it before booking anything. The host keeps you updated if anything changes with the accessibly of the camping. Which was yet another wonderful part of their service. All in all, I would return here in a heartbeat, and I would definitely stay longer.”

“this camp we stayed in last night was one of the best this trip. Elverum Campground, Norway. We rang in the afternoon to book a cabin as the weather is very unstable at the moment. He offered us the smallest cheapest cabin, twin beds, no water, at pretty much the same rate as most other cabins we have stayed in with the same description. What he failed to tell us though, is that it had a kettle, coffee machine, fridge, bench top oven, 2 elements and all the kitchen gear we needed + most importantly a 10 litre bottle to fill with water and a big bowl with dish cleaning equipment. The only thing we needed to leave for was the toilet/shower! They even had free bikes for us to ride to the supermarket. Loads of showers and toilets with the dressing compartment separate from the shower in each cubicle (with doors!!) so everything stayed dry. 100% recommend.”

My visit was unplanned as I was stuck with a frozen vehicule and I had to walk up on the old route from Sundvollen at dusk (about an hour, strongly suggest it if you want to boost the atmosphere of this incredible place). Arriving at night really threw me back in time. The dinner menu will content the hungry and absolutely mesmerise the gourmet...really, this was one of the best meal of my life and I have had a most restful night. The breakfast was great. The boss and his team put a lot of love in this Inn and you can feel it. I hope i can bring my friends here sometime. Tak.”

“Stayed here a couple times while doing the Porsche driving experience tour with 62 Nord. We stayed in 2 different rooms and both were really nice. Well maintained and comfortable beds. Amazing views of the fjord below from many rooms. On site meals were delicious. Since our meals were included with our tour each meal was a fixed 3-4 courses. Really delicious. Would definitely stay again.”

“This is a gem of a property! The location - right on the beach - is heavenly. My cabin was beautifully appointed - coffee maker, cups, plates, utensils and cookware were all exactly perfect. They even had a cutting board. The bed was sublimely comfortable! It was so lovely to fall asleep to the gently sound of the water. The living area was cozy, in the best sense of the word, with windows that looked out on the water. When I go back - and I absolutely will - I can't wait to try the restaurant. It has great reviews but unfortunately, when I arrived in late October, the restaurant was closed for the season. Finally, I appreciated how available and responsive the owner of the property was; I had to make a small change to my reservation and he was fantastic to work with.”

“Really nice, stylish hotel right in the heart of Bergen. It is excellently located within walking distance of all the main attractions and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The rooms were also really nice, clean and stylish. However the single beds were really too narrow and therefore not very easy to sleep on. The breakfast buffet was also very good with lots of options to cater for all. I definitely recommend it and would stay there again without any hesitations.”

“Nicely priced campsite overlooking a coastline frequented by otters. One kitchen, two shower/toilet cubicles and two toilet-only cubicles — the campsite is quite small, however, so we rarely had to queue for anything. Nice minimum spacing between pitches to maintain privacy. Reception is open for two periods per day, but there's a sign up inviting you to find a pitch in the meantime, so we meandered back at 18.00 when reception opened and paid then. Friendly staff.”
