CONS: We booked a package for the new year (breakfast, dinner and new years meal) and the things we have to complain are: - every night except new year's night we have little to no music, the explanation being they have a battery based speaker and could not find charging cable :) - first night they said we need to exit the restaurant by 10 pm as they have to close it. After talking on the phone with the owner they agreed we could stay in the restaurant - New years meal was ok but most of the rest of the meals were poor... Twice we had to go to a restaurant nearby to get some soup and pizza. - the rooms were poorly isolated. We heared almost everything from other rooms and from the kitchen. A place to go for max 1 day rest but not for celebrations...”

On the other hand, for those looking to indulge in loud music, loud talking, and the classical Romanian mountain grill habit (mici, ceafa and alcohol)..you'd better look elsewhere in Moieciu, there are plenty of options to suit your needs :) . Carpatica Lodge is more of a mountain retreat. We look forward to returning in the near future.”

“Good location, between the 2 ski slopes, 10 minutes walk to the old one, 10 minutes drive to the new one. The room was large, with great views on two sides. Very comfortable beds. We mostly enjoyed the play room, with pool tables, football table, ping pong and darts. There is also a nice pool with hot water. But in 5 days in which we stayed, they haven't changed our towels. The breakfast is ok, but not too fancy.”

“The best experience i’ve ever had in Romania. People were complaining from other hotels that the bed wasn’t good or the ac wasn’t working, and we had the best experience. The bed was so big that 4 people could fit in it:) Also, we were served champagne and ate cake at breakfast! One of the best breaks. We also had a towel ticket were we could change the beach towel and take others for the pool! Exquisite! Plus, we arrived too early and they allegedly us to store our luggage, change in our swimsuits and go to the pool! Amazing!”
