“Felt like we visited India instead of Singapore! Very cool! The hotel is indeed extremely small especially for a family. However, we were not in the room often. We were greeted by courteous and caring front desk staff. They are very accommodating here! We initially had a huge issue with our room being in the middle of a group that rented several rooms which meant they spoke to each other loudly at the hallways. We were awaken at 7am to their chit chats and screaming of their kids. The staff was prompt in moving us to another room. Very kind of them to do it so quickly. We got a nice quiet room and were finally able to get some rest. They had awesome pillows and comfortable bed! The sofa bed was sufficient for the kids. Be aware that the main bed is upstairs which is a bit tight to go up & down. The pool was cold but still fun for the kiddos. Highly recommended!”

“The best hotel that we have stayed during our honeymoon vacation! We have travelled to over 8 different hotels during our period of travel, this was my favourite by far. There were so many special touches that made it memorable - Drinks on arrival, the lovely set up in our room and the cake surprise was top tier! The customer service was also excellent. Shout out to Prince at the reception who was attentive and welcoming! We had room service and breakfast which was both delicious. We got to enjoy happy hour and the bar by the pool which was fantastic too. I would definitely recommend!”

“Customer service is great. The room is a standard size, and is decorated well. Bathroom is again of standard size, the shower is the best, I want one. Just at the press of a button it turns on with a overhead rain shower, normal shower and one that comes out of the bottom that I can only assume is for washing the feet, it also has a digital display for the temperature. Room had a balcony too but we did not use it.”

“My family really enjoyed staying here over the past few weeks while our house was undergoing a makeover. All the staff are genuinely friendly and sincere in making us feel welcome and at home. The two bedroom apartment is beautifully furnished and well maintained. The daily breakfast spread (weekdays only) is fairly good and the morning greetings by the breakfast staff certainly has helped to brighten up the day! Even though I have checked out well before my birthday, the staff still cared enough to greet me with advanced birthday wishes plus a nice bottle of wine and a souvenir some chocolates! Just want to give a shout-out to the front desk people (Mr Rueben, Ms Sobbana, Ms Komathi n Ms Renugha) as well as the service crew (Mr Harry, Ms May n Ms Bing Bing). Thanks a lot for going out of your way to make our stay there a really pleasant one!”

“Where do I begin with this hotel. The lobby gives you a sense of hope that there is some quality and cleanliness in this hotel. Until you go to the room. They are small in size. Your bathroom, shower and sink are an all in one. That is not really the problem, as that style is quite common in Singapore. The issue was with the cleanliness of the room and rest of hotel. Dust everywhere, mould on door floor, stains and marks on bed sheets and window blind. When I complained to reception, they laughed, apologised and did nothing. Even when I asked for new sheets. We checked out a few days early and stayed somewhere else. It was that bad. There are plenty of other options across Singapore. Don’t waste your time here”

“Score: 3.5 stars, rounded up. The hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and we slept very well. Staff very friendly, too. The issue is the ventilation: every morning of our 4 day stay, we were woken up at 7am by strong cooking smells, onion, garlic, etc. Apparently the people next door were cooking - that’s their right, but it shouldn’t affect the rooms next to it. Still, the hotel is very good value in Singapore and I’m glad we stayed here.”

“Would book again! Checking in yourself was new for me, and although it takes a few minutes, the process is actually pretty simple. There is also staff present from 7am to 10pm to help you if necessary. The location is great. You have easy access to the metro lines that can bring you to Gardens by the Bay, Little India, and if you so desire, even back to the airport. The bed is comfortable, and the amenities provided were great. Showers were clean, but perhaps it was a bit crammed to store your clothes while showering. Only one (big) flaw in the rooms, however, is ventilation. As there are no windows in the room (depending on type) you'll notice condensation building on the mirrors and walls. This is a sign of poor ventilation and a lack of fresh oxygen. The solution I found is to turn the AC unit to "high power". It will be quite a bit cooler (18°C even), but at least the air will ventilate through the room much better.”

“I love this hotel, it's fantastic for solo travelers. I almost feel like I shouldn't review it because then more people will find and book the hotel thus it might get sold out when I need it (afterall it's a small 4-storey hotel). All amenities are simple but complete. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Cleaning service comes daily to replace tea & coffee. Best of all, the price is very affordable.”
