“We attended a wedding here and it was amazing and so romantic. The property is grand with historic architecture. They have a nice pool with a bar good to chill at in the morning. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning is available. Staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was good nothing special. “We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lancelot. The location was awesome, the staff was awesome and always available and the breakfast was great! There are many restaurants nearby and a grocery store which was nice for buying wine or sandwich's. The rooms are typical European style with a wardrobe for hanging your clothes and drawers for storing your items. There is not really a suitcase storage but we were able to fit everything in the wardrobe. We had a little balcony off our room onto the main street which was full of all the sounds of Rome! The room was very clean as was the entire hotel! The elevator is really tiny and can fit maybe three people, which isn't a big deal if you can take the stairs. We never ended up eating the nightly dinner due to our schedule, but they were very popular! I would highly recommend!”

When we arrived, it was before check-in, so we were asked if we would like to be backed and kept so we could go and explore. When we got our room, it was clean and tidy. “service is very good, the main problem is that it's an old 4 star hotel. our room was in a huge need of an update. a part from the fact that it was extremely hot, we found a towel with hairs on it (immediately changed), the shower was broken with water going everywhere, there is carpet on the floor...the overall look is very old and for the amount of money you spend here, you can find something better. moreover, the breakfast does not have many real vegan alternatives (no soy yogurt, no vegan croissants, no vegan cakes), although you can find soy milk, soy cappuccino and of course bread and jams. but for being 2023, it's a very poor choice of vegan products.”

“Just returned from a week long vacation at Hu I Pini Village. We were a couple, three children (12,10,6) and a small dog. The overall impression is great, the village gives you the feeling of a calm vacation, zero worries and a great atmosphere. Rooms - The accommodations were great but not excellent. The kitchen could have more accessories (oven, coffee machine) but it met with our needs. The blankets were a bit outdated and not really gave the best impressions so I recommend brining your own. AC was great. Kids - Had a blast. The animators teams were amazing. so lovely, fun and with high energies. My kids loved them and even now keeps reciting all the dances they thought them. My eldest (12 year old) were quite bored sometimes, everything is heavily aimed for 10 and under. Safety - No complaints. Felt safe. You do need to note that there are cars traveling within the facility (although at a very low speed) so please let your kids be aware of that. The place was mostly accommodated by Dutch people which of course are very nice and pleasant.”

“A lovely and pleasant place. The problem with the cleanliness of the pools, there is mold in the pools, no care is taken to remove the insects at all. We received very old and short robes even though we saw that there were new ones. In the restaurant we waited a long time for each dish to be taken out and there were disappointing dishes alongside successful dishes. For example, a turkey starter is actually a small pastrami. The breakfast is poor, a fee must be added for basic food. The mini bar was all included and it was a pleasant surprise. The gardens are very well maintained and stunning.”

“Stayed there Dec 19 to Dec 21. Rooms are huge. We booked two rooms both were located at the corners of the building. Not sure about the rest of the rooms.Our rooms were also clean and looked modern. Bathrooms were big and clean too. The guest house (only 7 rooms) is so near to the bus stops. They were just a few feet away.We used the bus to get to the Metro (train), Vatican, and other tourist spots. We used Google Maps to ride the bus and metro. Google Maps was accurate.Once you get used to riding Rome buses and Metro, you'll notice how convenient the location of the guest house is. Our booking included breakfast. They serve a lot of croissants, cereals, coffee, juice. You can also ask Andrea or Giorgio to cook eggs for you. Breakfast was good. Service is excellent. Once you've arrived to the guest house, Giorgio or Adrea will orient your group about the tourist spots/map of Rome. They also provided recommendations such restaurants ( even the cheap ones). You can ask them other questions about rome and how to get to the attractions. Both Andrea and Giorgio are accommodating and easy to talk too. Even their neighbor at the ground floor is nice and friendly. The guest house also has a luggage room. We were able to leave our bags when we came in early and left also our bags after we checked out.”

“I was very nervous on my way to Rome due to many of the previous so negative review however, all the bookings are set so I just embrace whatever with open heart. Room To my surprise, the room was lovely and clean. Toilet was small but okay for me (177cm asian guy). Staff are also attentive and kind. They also provided toiletries and a bottle of water. Wall seems to be a bit thin for european standard as I can hear voices from other room but it’s still ok. Breakfast The hotel served breakfast for 5 euro. Nothing fancy however the sweet croissants were quite nice. Location Probably this is the only down side of the hotel. The neighborhood where this hotel is located is quite sketchy and far from the station (20 mins using bus / tram, including 10 mins walk). There’s a supermarket on the side of the hotel though. All in all, I don’t think this hotel deserves all the hate. I had a decent stay at the given price, and it suits my expectation (4.1 Google rating) .”
