“When we arrived we were greeted by a very unwelcoming woman, who after we checked in and had had questions about places to see and asked if she had any recommendations, she was totally unhelpful! We arrived at out room, which was done very cheaply., although very beautiful setting. We took the train to another town for dinner since there was no options in or around the hotel, and were told by hotel to call from train station and no one answered as we called many times. We had to find our way back. When we returned to our room , wanted to take a bath, and there was no hot water. I would not recommend this hotel. The only positive thing I can say about it was the setting is beautiful.”

“Absolute great hostel experience. Super central, close to every city landmark. The hostel is cute with a nice mix of the historical building and modern installations. The staff is super friendly and honestly the best part - super kudos to them and specially Bel! There are two planned activities per day (afternoon and night) plus drinking games and dinner every day. Just be mindful that this is a very social hostel, no might not be the best for me time.”

“At Hotel Internacional in Porto, our expectations were significantly let down, especially considering the price. The bathroom’s sliding door was so difficult to operate that it was practically unusable for children. The breakfast was underwhelming for its price range, notably lacking daily bacon for the scrambled eggs, a feature we’d expect even in a hostel. To our dismay, we discovered online that we paid 50% more than the current rate. When addressed, the reception’s response was dismissive, citing “flexible rates, bad luck for you” with no attempt to resolve our dissatisfaction. This lack of customer care overshadowed the hotel’s only redeeming feature: its central location. It’s a visit we won’t be repeating.”
