“We are returning family & love this site! It’s small & friendly with a calm ambience. The pool is beautiful, the view, depth and sun beds are perfect! We have a car so find it easy to drive to a local supermarket & into town but the 2km walk along the lake promenade is beautiful. We stayed in a chalet, it has a hob & microwave but no oven, toaster or grill but clean and lovely terrace. Can’t wait to go back 😀”

“No hotel has ever impressed me so much. It's hard to believe it only has 3 stars as everything here is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I've never experienced such a warm welcome in any 4 or 5 star hotel. When, after travelling 15 hours, we reached the place, I didn't manage to get to the reception when Filippo directed us to the parking lot, even though we didn't inform about the arrival time. The staff won't miss any guest, they are always here for you, greeting with a sincere smile, even if we see each other several times a day 🤗 BREAKFASTS - truly the best I've ever seen and tried. Homemade sweet and savory pastries, all of the highest quality with information about the origin of (e.g. eggs). Fresh fruits and vegetables as if from their own garden. Everything literally melts in your mouth 🤤 Delicious coffee, juices, detoxifying lemonades. The rooms are immaculately clean and fragrant, equipped with everything you need and even more (like a beach bag - a great idea!). I wanted to add that it's a pity that they don't serve dinners, but I'm afraid that the place could lose this uncommon intimacy and I might never find a free date again 🙉 I'M IN LOVE and will be back as soon as possible 💚🤍❤️”

“I first visited this hotel back in 2017 and was so impressed I vowed to return as soon as I could. We stayed last week for 5 nights and once again it was very good but I didn’t feel the same vibe; maybe as it was peak season. The highlights are the staff, who are incredible attentive and friendly and the pool. On arrival we were greeted with welcome drinks and snacks and there were rose petals laid on the bed. These little touches really add to you feeling welcomed. Breakfast is extensive but you do have to pick what you want from a large menu the day before. This can be a bit annoying as you don’t know what you’ll fancy in the mornings. Dinner was nice but heavily seafood orientated. Service was excellent as ever. You get a surprise snack around the pool everyday which is a lovely touch. Although, I couldn’t help but compare it to previously where there was a pool service and the staff regularly checked to see if you wanted a drink and would bring out complimentary olives, for example. This time it lacked a bit of that and I guess it was because of it being busier. That is not to detract from the hard working staff though; if you needed anything there was also someone around to ask. The pool is very nice, with whirlpool areas and we easily spent all day there. Unfortunately, it is next to a road and as it was peak season it was rather loud. I’m sure before they used to leave the waterfall feature running and that blocked out some of the noise. This time you had to press a button and it only comes on for around 15 seconds. There are plenty of beds and there was never a rush to secure one. However, this does mean the beds are a bit cramped and bunched together. I would suggest the hotel looks at changing the decking though; it is looking a bit tired and worn now and it gets ridiculously hot in the sun. The rooms are nice and the bathroom was lovely with a walk in shower. The shower head did need cleaning though as some of the holes were blocked and water sprayed in numerous directions. There is a window between the bathroom and bedroom… so if you and your partner aren’t that close that may be a problem. We weren’t overly keen on being able to see the other on the toilet. The wooden flooring could use a refresh as it is looking a bit outdated now. There was a distinct lack of sockets too; none by the bed! There is a minibar but it only had two bottles of water in and was never refilled. There is a kettle and coffee etc but no milk. There was no iron or ironing board and reception didn’t offer one either. They give you dressing gowns but they were extremely crisp to the point of being exfoliating. Weirdly they didn’t offer any slippers which would have been nice. They do give flip flops but the sizes just don’t work and they aren’t comfortable. They do offer a laundry service but we like to use an iron/board as and when we need it. It’s also worth noting it’s not an adults only hotel. I had assumed (for some reason; maybe because last time I didn’t see any) that it was but there were several families with teenagers and a young child. I definitely think it detracted from the ethos of being a boutique relaxation hotel and spa. There was plenty of parking for private vehicles and the town of Garda is just down the road. It’s about a 15 minute walk. They do offer cycles at the hotel but with how busy the main road was we didn’t want to risk it. I believe they also offer a shuttle service. Overall, a wonderful boutique hotel with staff that really make it an enjoyable stay. If I was to return it would have to be off season and adults only.”

“We stayed 2 nights in one of the annex rooms which had direct access to the lawns, perfect for our dog. All of the staff were brilliant: cheery, helpful and generous. The breakfast buffet had everything we wanted, the views were great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. There is a regular bus service into Belluno, but we never used it as it's only a 30 minute walk. The finish wasn't perfect but the hotel had character and history. For the price, we happily give Villa Carpenada 5 stars!”

“We just had the most wonderful week at this hotel. I kept thinking I had got something wrong with the price because it seemed so reasonable for 5 star treatment. The view alone from the terrace was ridiculously beautiful. The breakfast each morning was amazing with so much healthy choice and such great service form the staff. The chef does an evening meal which was so excellent that we just couldn't risk going anywhere else so we stayed there every night. There's a set menu which changes daily, it's not expensive and we felt it was like fine dining. Sitting there at night with a bottle of wine, that view and this five course meal was unbeatable. Away from the busy town but close enough to walk there, this hotel is a little gem. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely pool that was never too busy, just a few guests here and there through the day. We even had a massage and sauna. I honestly felt renewed and will definitely visit again. We felt like the staff make you their friend while you're there, nothing is too much trouble and they are super kind and welcoming. I was sad to leave this wonderful place. Thank you Capri. XXXX”

“My first impression was that this camping is somewhat dated and with not too much of an offering. At the end it was very adequate for our needs and we had a good time here with our kids of 1 and 4 years of age. The installations is somewhat of age, but generally working, hygienic spaces are kept clean and tidy. Staff is friendly, I get the impression the place is family driven. As you enter the camping, it is not huge, there are some spots with protection from wind and sun. Closer to the beach there is more attractive spots, but less protected to the weather. The camping have direct access to the beach and run a banja of it's own (deck chair is charged extra). Chioggia is a comfortable 30 minute walk away. There is no traffic noise. Saturday and Sunday there is a loud beach party at a nearby club, ending at midnight (free entrance). Main attraction for our kids is the playground at the beach, apart from beach itself. To us the main attraction is to have things within good range, at the same time a quiet spot.”

Was originally under the impression that my early flight would require me to walk but they do have a shuttle bus that starts at 430am for $5 euro per person. I wasn't expecting such a cool spot. Lobby area has a bar, fireplace with comfortable couches. Room is a duplex, with a spiral staircase leading to a sitting area for lounging. Features a very spacious bathroom, bedroom, and desk area. Had dinner in their dining room, amazing service but felt the food itself was extremely salty when it didn't need to be but that could just be me. Service is great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.”

“We had a wonderful time at Hotel Amburgo. This family-owned hotel has been operating for 50 years. Everything was perfect actually. The breakfast selection was very extensive, and delicious, and healthy too! And the dinner was really varied , tasty, ad moreover beautifully presented. We also felt that a key strength of the hotel is its staff - everyone was so friendly and helpful, and also multilingual. Everything was very clean too, including the room and the rooftop pool. It was nice to use the hotel bikes to explore the surrounding countryside. We wanted to thank the entire team of Hotel Amburgo for a great and relaxing holiday!”
