“We selected this resort to have more of an Etna view after seeing some videos of the property, although you could only see the mountain from select spots on property. The staff / service / food / wine were great and nothing but positive notes on that end. Housekeeping was attentive and cleaned up the room nicely. The rooms did not meet the standards of a 5-star property. They were very outdated and need some renovation and TLC (tender, love and care). Inevitable that bugs would get in the room given you are on an organic fruit and wine vineyard too that we experienced. Overall, they could use some new sheets, blankets, air conditioning units, mattresses with covers, and some real work. For the price, we were disappointed. The pool was crowded with kids and some of the other outdoor items need some attentive maintenance for aesthetics too and routine upkeep. We ended up visiting Taormina primarily, and utilizing the restaurants on the island. If we were to do it again, would stay beach side as it is quite a distance away and for the price it’s well worth relocating towards the beach vs. vineyard.”

On our last day, we have had an unfortunate incident where our private car was locked, and had to stay here for the whole afternoon until we resolve the matter. The management went out of its way to help us with contacts in the vicinity, tried to open the car themselves, and even offered us free lunch and free stay for the night… they went out of their way and for that we are very grateful, amazing management, keep it up, you will definitely be recognized and will spread all the positivity about this place in our country of Malta. “We had promised our daughter an agriturismo experience before she left the next day. Valle di Chiramonte was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. Service and presentation of the the different courses was well timed. When you visit an agriturismo expect to spend three hours eating. The menu is the the same for everyone one and there are 9 courses. All the food is from local suppliers or from the farm itself. they make their own cheese on site. It starts with an antipasto, then hot ricotta, and their own ragusana cheese. To primi or pasta dishes two seconde or meat dishes. All well prepared and as much or little as you wanted. wine is included or the beverage of your choice. price was what you expect to pay and not very much for what you get. We did not stay in the B&B but only experienced the agritourismo.”
