“first of all, this hapimag has a really unique facility and beautiful nature surrounding it, which is simply stunning - one of the best hapimag resorts for sure and i’ve seen plenty. also, as always staff was welcoming and friendly - huge thank you. nevertheless, there are two major things that are making me slightly mad. 1. the apartements are badly old fashioned (typical hapimag style) and urgently need some renovations - they just don’t fit to the aspirations and overall pricing 2. you must extra pay for everything - towels, fitness room, … that’s nothing a regular decent hotel would ever do i would like to point out further that we did enjoy their pizza a lot - there were some reviews that the pizza is not real italian.. they offer lots of activities for children and there are plenty of animals around, which is both nice. the local little supermarket is surprisingly well stocked and also offers veggies out of their garden. in the end, we loved our stay because of the facility. also, we were allowed to switch apartments because the first one was unpleasant for us due to the location of it. the second one was simply amazing with the most beautiful view. but, we did not know that we had to pay 60€ “cleaning fee” although we basically did not use the first one fully.”

“The wine tour with lunch is a must-do on any trip to Florence/Tuscany. This wine estate is the perfect escape from the crowded streets of Florence and is an easy taxi ride from the city center. The tour was extremely interesting and educational and the entire estate is beautiful. Giovanni, our guide was passionate and knowledgeable. “While the hotel is a bit dated, it was a few members of the staff, particularly in the restaurant, that were the main issue from a service perspective. While we had a fantastic experience with one male waiter who served 10 of us with a smile and a sense of humour in a private room on the first floor, many of the staff that worked during the breakfast and tended the outdoor bar area were clearly not happy working there. If you were of Italian descent, you were treated far differently than if you were not and this occurred on multiple days. The difference was palatable. Some of the women who were working the breakfast area had scowls on their face, ignored you or were very dismissive when delivering your coffee. The woman that appeared to be in charge behind the bar was more professional. I recall ordering a drink on the outdoor patio from a young blonde haired waitress one afternoon and after 1/2 hour I went up to ask about the status of my drink, her boss asked her where the drink was and then she delivered it after a few minutes with a scowl on her face. For those waitresses, here's a little tip - If you don't like interacting with people, then perhaps a job in the hospitality industry is not for you. For this reason I will never come back to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone of non-Italian descent.”
