“This hotel is blissful. It's half an hour's drive from anywhere else but it overlooks wooded countryside and is the perfect example of how to renovate an ancient village. All of the rooms are separate houses and are very comfortable with sitting rooms and fireplaces. The staff is excellent. Service is first class. The food in the restaurant was unexpectedly good and we ended up eating there every night because there really is nowhere else within easy driving distance. And it is also great value considering the fact that they've got a captive audience. We simply didn't understand why we were the only guests there in early June. Although it would appear to be down to the poor weather they've had this year. There are lovely walks around the hotel.”

Andrea was a wonderful host who suggested visits to beautiful villages we had not considered as well as restaurants and directions to get to Assisi easily. “Gorgeous property for a wonderful wedding. I was recently married at Castello di Montignano this summer and could not have had a better experience. Weddings of course have their moments of insanity and problems but the owner and staff here were wonderful and helped problem solve in every capacity. The property itself is beautiful with a park and pool and gorgeous vistas of the countryside and sunflower fields and the rooms are comfortable and unique and spacious. The building is all beautiful stone, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the reception of everyone was warm and welcoming. The staff helped coordinate wedding details as well and their knowledge of the vendors and local area was extremely helpful. We had a boutique and intimate wedding and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and I can't wait to go back and visit. Thank you to Giuseppe the owner and Nicole the in house wedding planner along with the rest of the staff for a fantastic experience!! <3”

“The place is a beautifully renovated farm. It’s now in separate apartments or small kitchenettes.( completely updated ) The owners are very kind. We showed up early, we had a hard time judging distance. The owner left lunch to let us in. Some of the older reviews said breakfast. You do need to go and purchase food. You have everything to fix it with.Eating out is a perfect option. The price is beyond exceptional. I am a clean freak and it absolutely passed. The beds are good ! I have a bad back and woke up without one 😊. We originally booked for two nights and immediately ask to change to five. Unless you are looking for an authentic farm stay you will love this. It’s perfect. Thank you guys!! “We recently stayed here and it was absolutely stunning. Situated perfectly within the old town of Assisi, everything was in close walking distance with an additional benefit of being relatively close to nearby car parking. The accommodation consisted of an apartment which was breathtakingly beautiful, neat, very clean and comfortable. The apartment comprised of historic furniture, old frescos on walls and roofing as well as lots of charming details. Our room also had an outdoor private courtyard with wonderful views and seating area. We felt very welcomed on arrival by the owner and he also shared lots of details of the building and provided great local recommendations for the area. This place was truly a gem and I would encourage anyone wanting to stay in Assisi to stay here.”
