“The Landschloss Fasaneri in Zweibrucken is located in a very peaceful setting on the edge of town. The hotel staff are very friendly and everyone seemed very happy to be there which made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the laundry service was fast. My room was very welcoming with ample closet space to hang clothes and store my luggage, desk space, mini bar with glasses and small fridge. Most rooms have a patio or deck. The formal dining rooms are beautifully set and the staff provided top notch service. The food was delicious as were the wine pairings. There is lots of parking too.”

But unfortunately I have to point some recommendations also . it’s really shame they don’t have a small under counter fridge in the room and we could keep our own water and other drinks cold in the fridge while we were staying in hotel . Also they don’t have a cattle in the room to make our own coffee and tea. Also hotel they got open cafeteria outside by the water and really sad they don’t serve any coffee or tea in lunch time I think they should consider about serving a drink in lunch time because they loose money and customer by not serving this kind off service. We could spent more time in hotel if we had a our drinks in outside cafeteria in the day . We didn’t mind to pay for it if they served hot drinks in outside cafeteria during the staying in hotel and unfortunately we had to drive to different places for it to have a hot drinks and there isn’t any place’s around or near to hotel to have a drink. Overall Hotel really nice and clean.”

“Fabulous hotel and staff. Everything is vegan and taste delicious…except the morning coffee. Our room was perfect, the only improvement I could ask for is the flower pots on the 3rd floor. All the other floors had beautiful flowers on the deck. The third floor flowers were all dead and the pots were smelly. We would definitely stay again. We also received free bus passes for the Bernkastel wind fest. We are not a vegan household and still loved the food. Our teens raved about the cheesecake.fantastic view!!!”

“This is a review more of the hotel’s restaurant than the hotel. (Although the rooms are large, with full amenities, and reasonably priced.) The restaurant is extremely nice. Cloth table coverings, cloth napkins, and candlelit tables. Their menu has a nice variety of dishes and they pride themselves on organic ingredients. My starter was the cream of mushroom soup. Oh, my! So smooth and silky on the palate and bursting with flavors. My main dish was the venison sausage that was served with a glaze loaded with flavor. The sausage (which the server indicated was made from deer from the nearby woods) was very firm and not at all gamy on the palate. It was served with sautéed onions and fried potatoes. I also had a side salad with a vinaigrette dressing. I can’t wait to see what is in store for breakfast tomorrow! Only 10 hours to wait! If you are in the area, drive here. Stay here. Eat here.”
