“Great location and the room was beautiful. The staff were all warm and welcoming, including Grit (reservations) and the ladies at the front desk whose names I did not catch. I noticed they gave us a complimentary room upgrade—unannounced—which was appreciated. I would stay here again! One note: there are currently renovations to the Hugo Boss next door, which are out of the hotel’s control, however the works do start quite early and can be heard from the second floor rooms. It was not a problem for my partner and I.”

“This is the most comfortable bed ever in all of Germany. Seriously. I woke up rested and refreshed before my alarm (this NEVER happens to me) and realized I still had more time to rest. It was glorious. The lobby and my room were both extremely clean. Friendly helpful staff at the desk, they gave me a free postcard and tried to help me with overseas postage. Make sure to check out the seating area and look down! There's a glass floor and old foundation under the lobby. Very cool.”

“A fabulous hotel to stay with, staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and the outside balcony over looking the river was beautiful. The only issue was no air-conditioning in the room except a little fan to keep us cool and the windows open. Apparently, there are roons with air-conditioning. Definitely recommend this hotel.”

Improvement - the shower place is a bit small and thus water sips out after shower. Otherwise, the place is comfortable with good location.”

“Absolutely overpriced gym. Dirty locker rooms/showers with lots of hair and garbage on the floor. Unwashed for weeks mirrors at the gyms, unfriendly and arrogant staff at the reception, confusions in the schedule. Even 2 years ago it was better. It's getting worse and dirtier, unfortunately. For half a year there was a bucket in the middle of the gym for water dripping from the roof. At the same time water tubes doesn’t work well so for drinking you should almost lick the metal parts. Most of the visitors of the gym are 60+ age during the day.”

“That's been a while I was so unhappy about a hotel. First, the staff at the reception was particularly unfriendly, avoiding eye-contact and trying to speak to my male colleague (who obviously had nothing to do with my booking) instead of me. Second, my booking was nowhere to be found in their system, even though I had received a confirmation email with a room number. Given the late hour of my check-in (around midnight) I was really looking forward to check in quickly and rest, while it took an hour to find a solution for my booking. Booking was made directly with the hotel, by the way. Third, once I finally got a room (different from the one started in the confirmation email), i was surprised to find the "Do not disturb" sign on the door. The room inside was in total disorder and was clearly occupied by someone. It took another 15 minutes to get this sorted. Fourth, when i finally got a room, the desk was full of oily fingerprints. given the late hour I decided to surrender as the rest of the room was ok. The awkward communication with the receptionist did not make it any better. The service is terrible.”

“The dirtiest room I've ever stayed in. There were short black hair all over our bedsheets and in the shower. Counters were stained and sticky, you could clearly see were each glass was placed before. There were balls of dust in the corners, curtains were broken off (we managed to easly fix it so cleaners were just lazy). We contacted the staff (after like an hour of trying to reach them) and they offered us another room twice, both turned out to be even dirtier. Both had dirty towels and same hair and counter issue. After reporting that, we were offered a refund and a promise that our room would be cleaned the next day. However nobody ever came for our entire stay. The inicial refund we recieved only covered 35% of the first night. We had to argue with the staff (they were very hard to reach and ignored our refund request for multiple days) for 2 weeks for the 35% refund to cover the rest of our stay. We were told that according to their information our room was cleaned after the first night and no additional refund will be given. Luckly we had videos to prove otherwise. Overall it was a terrible experience, made worse by awful support.”

“I stayed in this hotel because my flight at Tegel Airport was canceled and I was rebooked for a next day flight. I wanted a hotel in the proximity of the airport. To be honest, I was a bit in shock when I arrived at the hotel. Outside looks very old and outdated. HOWEVER, I was very positively surprised with the interior. I had been renovated recently, with spacious rooms (no air conditioning though). Staff was super friendly and enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. It was good for the purpose.”

“The location was grate. I was 20 minutes close to Marianplatz and 5 minutes close to Lidl and a shop complex. The service and the rooms were grate and they have the breakefast at only 7 euros and it was a very good one. So yes, I recomend this Hotel.”

“The room was pretty clean and confortable. There were all the things you would need for a short stay. The staff was really polite and helpful with everything. Everyday they would take out the trash and make the beds. We didn't have booked for breakfast so I'm not sure about that. The location is good too since it's pretty close to public transport stations and the ride to main monuments took about 20'. The pictures of the rooms on the website we booked the room I think do not justice the actual situation since the rooms seem to have older style when the reality is not exactly like that. We would definitely recommend it and if we visit Berlin again we would choose to stay there since it was really value for money.”

I was expecting a posh lovely minibar... but it was rubbish. The prices and wine size didn't match, and sadly, it was a joke. But the room was nice and water lovely and warm!”
