“I would like to tell you objective facts regarding this hotel: it is hotel only for seniors and you will find it hard to meet young people there. There are not any amenities for children, no playground, deep swimming pool.. The closest supermarket is 20 min walk (downhill, uphill), beach 30 min walk. There is a minibus from the hotel to the beach, but this beach is crowdy full of umbrelas. The water is crystal clear though. We did not want to stay ar overcrowded beach so we were walking 30 min to a different beach. The area around the hotel is like end of the world. No restaurants, no shops, so in the evening you have nowhete to take a walk, imagine just village with nothing to see and do except the beautiful sea and you are there. The train station is 30 min walk. The hotel bus can take you there for 3 euros each way. We were told the minibus goes to the beach every 30 min, but when we were there they changed it for once an hour in some hours. It happened we were waiting for the minubus but it did not arrive as the time was changed. Breakfast is youghurt,croissants, cheese,ham and bread, no vegetables. Dinners consists of a bufet which is pretty good and 2 courses you have to wait for the courses to be served so it means you have to wait a long time sometimes. The meals served at plates are not that good once they served us a canned cold tuna as a meal, so we rathet ate from a bufet which mainly included varieties of cooked, roasted vegetables, which were tasty but not much meat ...during the dinner water is not included you are charged extra for it but we knew about that from travel agency. Check your bill at reception continuesly as they tried to charge us for things we did not even order like a beer. Also happened that we ordered a sparkling water and a waiter brought us a still watter,we refused it, he apologized and brought the correct sparkling watter which would be ok but on the bill they charged us for both watters. If you do not give a tip to a waiter count with being served as the last table. The room was simple with no aircodatition ( you have to pay extra for it) with a high huminidy. There are a lot of moscitos in the area. The possitive was a beautiful clear sea. It depends on what you are expecting from a vacation.”

“We stayed at the APULIA HOTEL from 5 to 19 August on a full board basis. Wanting to find words to judge the stay, the first that comes to mind is spectacular. The start wasn't the best as they had assigned us a room that was in terrible infrastructural conditions, the next day I went to raise the problem at the reception and here I had the opportunity to meet two exceptional people, with excellent professional skills. We are talking about the director Melissa Gigliotti and the receptionist Desirè, who within a few minutes, in the true sense of the word, immediately replaced our room, giving us a much better and much larger one, without having to pay any difference and apologizing for the inconvenience caused. These people, throughout our stay, demonstrated an uncommon willingness to meet or rather fulfill all our requests in a rapid, effective and punctual manner. The animation was truly top notch. The entertainment manager, the legendary Giovanni, who was a pleasant surprise as he was an old acquaintance of ours from a previous village, proved himself to be a professional in entertainment and always up to the task, supported by a staff, albeit young (the average was 19 years), really very professional. Boys capable of involving all the occupants of the village in the various activities that were carried out throughout the day. The food was truly excellent and of high quality, the dining room staff always welcomed us with a big smile and was always ready to meet all the requests presented to them. If you want to find a flaw, in order to make your stay perfect, the sea and swimming pool aspect should be reviewed. The first because, due to the sea storms, the beach was full of very annoying sticks and the second because it would require renovation, as it shows the signs of aging. Ultimately, the APULIA HOTEL may be classified as a three-star hotel but for the treatment we received and the attention paid to the guests' needs it can easily be classified as a 5-star superior.”

Despite this, we messaged them beforehand asking for permission if it‘d be possible for us to book it and they agreed and accepted the booking. Fast forward to today, they denied us entry and said that we are not the kind of people they are looking for. Pretty disappointed at their discrimination against us and wouldn’t recommend at all. Got our money back via Airbnb and booked another lovely place nearby.”

“Let's start from the assumption that it is a 3-star hotel so we certainly weren't expecting luxury... let's start from the positive things, plentiful cuisine to which we easily adapted, very courteous dining room staff, I want to thank the chef Rosario who took care of the first courses and they were truly exquisite, nice room with sufficient cleanliness, very nice location, with a beautiful view of the sea!!! Alas, let's move on to the negative things, we paid for the club card on the spot but the service offered is obscene...improvised entertainment, I feel sorry for the guys who work there but they were very badly managed, the mini club did not exist, we were the ones who "revived" them by organizing among ourselves soccer matches and other things, the children were with their parents all day... they asked for money to have color parties and such nonsense otherwise they would stay at rest doing nothing, little evening activities, the village chief, never mind... let's move on to the beach, disaster, rubbish and objects destroyed everywhere, it smells of sewage as you go down to reach it, in short, nothing is missing! I wouldn't go back!!!!”

There were parts we liked less...like a bit less clean in the bathroom area ( than we're used to in the same price range); the pictures are very well made and over sell the place a bit; the kitchen schedule is tight. The stars are are for price/accommodation/cleanliness, the rest of the experience was just fine.”
