“Just off of the motorway.. We went here for dinner, I cannot comment on the rooms as I didn't stay over night. The restaurant is as you'd expect, tables well laid out and decorated nicely (a little too flowery for my taste) The cushions on the couches made it awkward to sit as they were so big, they look nice and that is about their only use. It was also exceptionally warm in the restaurant. Service was with a gentleman on his first day (he did a great job, very attentive). The food was very good, My partner however was very ill that night. He had prawn cocktail starter and salmon as a main course. I can only assume the prawns or fish was the cause as it was a late meal.”

As locals, we always feel welcome at the Social Hub, and after a chat with Julia it seemed like the right place to invite our wedding guests for a brunch here. The Social Hub was extremely helpful! Communication with them was flawless and always clear and to the point. They made sure we could use the breakfast buffet for brunch, reserved an area, and even arranged mimosa’s. The food was simply amazing (especially the scrambled eggs) and all our family and friends loved the vibes at this place. Everyone who had luggage was allowed to store it, we felt super welcome. We can recommend the social hub to anyone who wants to organize a personal event here! And seriously, try the scrambled eggs;) Thanks so much everyone at The Social Hub!”

“Coming to this hotel was very exciting. Even though it looked out dated it looked amazing online. Walking in the entire lobby looked so cool and up to date. We get to our room and it's old and extremely outdated. Rug is worn all over and stained. There is no extra lock on the door entering my room. There is no ironing board or iron. The TV doesn't actually work. The couch is so small and uncomfortable. For the amount you spend it should be updated and nice like the lobby.”

“Room for improvement! We stayed in a family house with three bedrooms upstairs and one down stairs. Firstly the house was not properly cleaned on our arrival. The previous families laundry was in bags in the hallway as we walked in. After the first day we called regarding the following: -Large sliding door leading to the deck couldn't be locked. -Sink upstairs would not drain properly. -Upstairs bedroom window couldn't be opened because a hinge was missing. -The ventilation system had an alarm because the filter needed changing. -No extra highchair even though we had confirmed before arrival. The door, highchair, and air filter where rectified at the end of the second day. We also received complementary bread for the following morning for the inconvenience. This was very much appreciated. Not the ideal situation for a family with three young children under 3 years old and someone who was heavily pregnant. Check in is also not on the premises itself. You have to drive 2 minutes down the road. Nice house and location. Shame about the lack of maintenance and upkeep of the premises.”

“Just terrible! Awful risotto, almost cold. On the website they offer salmon - not available. In the paper menu there is sea bass - not available. We got a table in full sun. I saw that they open parasol for an other table. I asked the same for us - a waitress said "yes, sure" and left doing nothing. Waiting time for a drink/food/bill not acceptable. 3 people and occupancy +/- 7 tables and still waiting 30 minutes for a drink. I saw that people next to us just grabbed menu by themselves, because they waited too long to get it from a waitress.”
